Hi friends! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with good food and the company of your loved ones. Like I said in my previous post, as usual we celebrated Thanksgiving with my brother-in-law and his family, but for a change, we ate out at a restaurant. We went to this restaurant that has a log cabin feel to it with a huge fireplace. I just loved the ambiance and the food was great. The place was jam-packed, too. I certainly didn’t expect that many people to eat out.
I was overwhelmed with the presence of family whom we get to only have heart-to-heart talks with in gatherings like this that I only had the nerve to take photos of the desserts. It was that time that everybody had kind of calmed down so I thought it would not be rude to take photos of the food. Just my thinking, but I did ask permission before I took these photos. Also, they are all aware that I have a blog where I share these photos, so I think they understood. I hope. (“,)
The restaurant serves buffet so it was an all you can eat scenario. If only I had a big “storage” I could have tried every dessert there was which was a lot. The desserts below which I shared with my husband and son were the only ones that were able to fit into my belly room designated for dessert. I actually thought there would be no room anymore after I’d eaten my dinner. But after the heavy main course, I just let my tummy rest a while and then continued to gobble.

I’m so full of leftovers right now, but I’m STILL super hungry after this!
Oh boy that chocolate cake and strawberry shortcake look to die for! Yum looks amazing and I would feast too!
OMG! That looks amazing! The best part of Thanksgiving dinner is really the desserts.
I have a sweet tooth so I think I would have to agree. (“,)
This year I made the traditional pumpkin pie and then my family’s favorite…Pinapple Upside Down cake. I’m thinking about going for a piece now…lol
Pineapple upside down cake? I haven’t tasted that one yet. Sounds delish! (“,)
On Thanksgiving, I actually didn’t even have any dessert. I guess I was too full!
I actually thought I will never have room for dessert. (“,)

Going out to a restaurant and letting someone else do the cooking is nice sometimes! And all of that dessert looked delicious!
