Happy April Fool’s Day!
I’m not into pranks though so not to worry. 😉 But I do have something else for you today – the March Recap! I don’t know about you, but aside from what we share here on the blog, we did have one hectic of a month. We normally have lazy Sundays, but last March, our Sundays were all spent somewhere other than our house. But those Sundays were all well spent and that’s the most important thing.
St. Patrick’s Day
The hubs has Irish blood so we talked some Irish here. I love Irish Blessings and shared the four printable ones that I saw on Pinterest. He on the other hand talked about St. Patrick’s Day the way he sees it in Wear Green or You’ll Pay on Saint Patrick’s Day which amused some of you.
Travel
Our impromptu trip to Looking Glass Waterfall was like I said, one of the best trips we’ve had. Impromptu trips are always great, aren’t they? For us, so far, it’s been that way. Also, I made a summary of our awesome vacay to Atlanta, Georgia with the Awesome Attractions Await You in Atlanta and it always makes me feel good to reminisce about that trip. My 6th grader had his first field trip ever and I gave you an insight of what he saw in the Things to See in Chattanooga, Tennessee. So glad he had a blast!
Food
Hubby celebrated his birthday at a Japanese restaurant and I shared Why we Love Japanese Food. Sushi, anyone? And I finally was able to share a Filipino recipe – Sauteed String Beans or Ginisang Sitaw – which is one of my favorites and it made a great impression on Pinterest. It is so simple yet so tasty! I love browsing Pinterest and after collecting Ten Delectable Guinness Desserts, I thought of making a list of Ten Enticing Easter Egg Desserts as well. Yum!
Music
Our blog has become a smorgasbord of topics, don’t you think so? What can I say, we love music so there’s got to be a blog post about music from time to time, right? I was enlightened with hubs’ post on The Birth of a Rocker. I surely didn’t know about those guys until that time.
Book
Lastly, the post that made the second biggest impression on Pinterest next to my Sauteed String Beans – Hubby’s post on One Minute to Midnight: Beware the Tick-Tock of the Doomsday Clock. Looks like a lot of people are so into history like him.
And there you have it.
How was your March?
Stacie @ Divine Lifestyle says
My March was very busy, but it was great. I enjoyed it, especially since the last days of it marked the warming trend of summer.
Lynndee says
Good to know, Stacie. 🙂
I can’t think of anything remarkable that happened to us in March, but we have a fun family vacay coming up this month, so We are excited.
Good for you and your family. Enjoy your vacay! 🙂
Sounds like you had a fun filled March. I was busy with working and moving the past few weeks. I am ready for things to slow sown a little.
It was fun although hectic. 🙂
March is always a busy month with my sons birthday in the beginning of the month! We had a fun month filled with warm weather activities since it is warming up here in Alabama. Love Sushi and Looking glass falls are close to my hometown and I have been there many times! It is beautiful!
It sure is beautiful. 🙂 Our son celebrates his birthday in March too and it was one of the reasons why our March was hectic.
What a great month you had!! Jealous of that Japanese food…YUM!!
It was hectic but great. 🙂
Nothing fancy happened in March for us. Can’t even really recall anything exciting. Your March looked nice, hope we both have a good April!
I hope so too, Jeanine. Here’s to a good April for us. 🙂
Looks like you had a busy (but fun) March! I hope April is as exciting for you!
I hope so too. Thank you, Cassie. 🙂
Sounds like you have a very busy month!!! It is crazy how fast this year is flying by!
I know, right? Time flew by so quick! 🙂
We went to Disney in March, but living in Florida, that’s not really a big deal. Looks like you had a great month though!
I hope we get to visit Disney someday. It’s on our bucket list actually. 🙂
We don’t really celebrate St. Patrick’s Day here in PH, no? You gave me an idea though – I could start something St. Patty next year. Belated happy birthday to your hubbie 🙂
We actually don’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day there. I haven’t even heard of St. Patrick’s Day or Guinness until I got here in the U.S. 🙂 Thank you for the belated greetings for the hubs.
What a great month you had! I am also madly in love with Japanese food!!!
It was great although hectic. 🙂
What a great idea for a post! March literally flew by for me and I have a feeling April is going to go by even faster!
Every month will fly by without us knowing. LOL.
I haven’t been in Tennessee sis but it looks beautiful out there. Wish we could visit someday.
There are a lot of beautiful places to see in Tennessee. Hope you do get to visit someday. 🙂
Sounds like you had a busy month. March is clean up the yard and get the garden going month. Lots of work outside
It was busy. Our clean up the yard month is April. But it’s already April and we haven’t started with our spring cleaning yet. 🙂
It sounds you have a busy month. Chattanooga is 3 hours from my home. I’ve been there many times and I love the area.
It’s about three hours and a half from our home too. Hope I get to visit is someday too like my kiddo. 🙂
I had a very productive March blog wise.. and a very eventful March generally speaking. Though I can’t say it’s entirely a bad thing.
Good for you, Kori. 🙂
It sounds like you had an exciting and much more active March than I did. I’m looking forward to April and hopefully traveling around a bit.
It was a busy month. I hope we get to do some traveling too if not in April, then hopefully in the summertime.
Looks like you’ve had a busy month! Looking forward to see your upcoming posts. 🙂
Thank you, Michelle. 🙂
March is always busy for me because we do a lot of Irish celebrations. Looks like you had such a busy, but fun month!
You’re right, it was busy but fun. 🙂
Our March was really hectic and it looks like yours was as well. I am hoping April will be a little less chaotic!
I hope so too. Less chaotic but still productive. 🙂
I guess March was the same as every other month in my life, pretty boring right now lol. I can’t wait for warmer weather to get into fun trips away from home.
Me too, can’t wait for warmer weather and I hope we get to do some R&R this year. 🙂
Looks like you had a busy March. I got a lot accomplished since we were pretty much snowed in.
It was definitely busy but great. 🙂
March is always an interesting month- so much snow where I live and so ready for the spring! Thanks for your update!
Thank you too, Tiffany. 🙂
Sounds like you had a busy month. Mine was organizing a conference and then going on vacation to New Mexico. I needed it because this month is packed.
Good for you, Nile. I really hope we get to have a vacation this year. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. 🙂
I don’t have a lot of impromptu trips in my lifetime, since my family always loves planning and don’t welcome the idea of last-minute travels. We love sushi and I’m craving for one right now!
Now that you’ve mentioned the sushi, I want some too. 🙂
My March was grand, well, it’s my birthday month so it’s always one of my favorite times of the year. I had a bit of a staycation around 45 minutes away, and it was nice to get away. I’ve never had sushi or Japanese before, but I am interested in trying it soon. We have had a lot of new Japanese restaurants pop up in my area lately.
March is also my son’s birthday month which was one of the reasons actually why March was hectic for us. Happy Belated Birthday to you. 🙂
Looks like you had a pretty fabulous March!! March is always crazy for me!! With my daughters birthday and the weather finally breaking…. Always so much to do!
It was hectic for us too or maybe I can also call it crazy. And one of the reasons was because it was also our son’s birthday month. 😉
March was a crazy month… of course, I’ve been saying that about the whole year so far. lol.
LOL. So you’ve been one busy of a gal, huh?
My husband and I used to take impromptu trips all the time. And I agree – they do seem better. We’re both retired now, so I’m guessing we’ll be taking a lot more of them.
Good to know, Cherri. 🙂
I can’t believe how quickly March went by! Sounds like it was a busy month for you as well.
It was indeed busy. 🙂
So much has happened – it was nice to go back to everything in March.
I like recapping and looking back to the month that was. 🙂
It sounds like you had a great month of March! I love how you included all of the other blogs as well. I need to get on a link up 🙂
You should. 🙂
What a great Month you had. Hope your April is off to a great start as well.
I hope so too, Hollie. Thank you. 🙂
Where did March even go? Seems like it just flew by in the blink of an eye, yet somehow included soooo many activities! This time a year it gets busier and busier with each month.
I know, right? But for as long as it’s productive, I have no problem with being busy. 😉
