Like I mentioned on my post on Friday, we spent most of our time at Biltmore Park Town Square on Father’s Day. But before we had our dinner at P.F. Chang’s, we watched our favorite animals first on the big screen. Got any clue? 🙂 We watched Jurassic World and enjoyed it. I’ve seen all the Jurrasic movies and I’ve always enjoyed watching them. Our son, Yogi enjoys it as much as I do and we both have actually watched the previous movies countless times. It comes out on cable from time to time. The hubs only tags along because he doesn’t have a choice. I know it was his day so he was supposed to be the one to choose which film we were going to watch, but majority always wins, right? Tee-hee.
After watching the movie, it was a little early yet to grab dinner so we explored the town square.

I just love this part of the town square. This was at O.P. Taylor toy store. Aren’t those toy soldiers adorable? We browsed the inside too and as usual the little one was wide-eyed. With all those toys? What kid wouldn’t be in awe? They even had huge moving dinosaur.
They have these riding toys outside of the store for the kids to use for free. Yogi surely had a blast riding both the rides for like more than an hour until it was time for us to have dinner. And the hubs and I enjoyed ourselves watching him go to and fro.
Yogi was being silly and giving me that rabbit smile.
That 11 ft. tall horse can be seen outside of P.F. Chang’s China Bistro. As soon as I saw it, I told my boys that I will take a snapshot of them. And as always, they gladly obliged. Good boys! 😉
It was such a good Father’s Day for the hubs. He said so and I’m glad. He deserved it!

I am so looking forward to seeing Jurassic World! It looks like you guys had fun at the toy store too! My kids and I went to my mom and dad’s on Father’s Day. Since my kids don’t have their dad anymore (my husband passed Nov. 2013) it is a sad day for us. At least they’ve got grandpa.
What a great time you must have had! We don’t go to the toy store often, but when we do, my kids are in heaven! They have so much fun browsing and playing with the hands-on displays. Luckily they’re great about not buying much unless they have their own money. 😉
We had a great Father’s Day celebration. We actually did a combo with my husband and my father-in-law.
Looks like you all had a great time. My family went to Pine lake on Fathers day with a group of people. Our vehicle broke down and we had to a hitch a ride home.

We haven’t seen Jurrasic World yet, but several of my children have. I’ve seen all of the movies and can’t wait to see the new one.

What a great way to spend Father’s Day. I’m not a Jurassic fan but I heard the movie was very well done. The ride on toys look really cool outside of the store. My kids would love them.

Father’s Day was a great day. I was still traveling, but my husband spent time with our son fishing. That is the best!
