Pasta is one thing that the three of us truly enjoy. I make sure to put it on the menu every other week and sometimes we also have it in consecutive weeks. It sometimes depends on our cravings (or mine) and sometimes it also depends on what recipe I come across while browsing online.
I do meal planning every week. We do our grocery shopping every Saturday so on the weekdays, I search for recipes to try out. I always like to try something new so we won’t get tired of having the same dish every week. One day last week, I thought of searching for slow cooker recipes. I love using my slow cooker. I believe, it is one of the most convenient creations for the kitchen that is made. Agree?
Then I came across the Slow Cooker Lasagna recipe. I love lasagna and I’ve tried preparing it many times before, but I’ve never thought I could actually prepare it using the slow cooker. What a brilliant idea! I think most of us, if not all, love to prepare easy and quick meals. So without second thoughts, I printed the recipe and got the ingredients that I needed.
Trust me, you guys, this lasagna is absolutely delicious. With three different kinds of cheeses in it, you better believe me it’s divine. Actually, other than being a slow cooker recipe, the next thing that sold me was the different kinds of cheeses as ingredients. We love cheese around here. So, what are the cheeses included, you asked? Well, cottage cheese, parmesan and mozzarella. How’s that? It also has oregano in it – something that I haven’t tried in my lasagna before.

I would want to try making that too. However, my crock pot is the deep casserole type. I’ve been planning to get the shallow oval shaped one for quite sometime and this recipe just put in a ton of convincing power for me to do so.
Lasagna is one of my favorite meals! Being able to do it in a crock pot would be wonderful! As the gets cooler, I love having a hot meal ready at suppertime!
I have never made lasagna but if I do I think I will try this method. I would have to leave out the onions thought, I can not stand them.

I prefer the traditional method of preparing foods as opposed to using a slow cooker however, this looks pretty good for having been prepared in a slow cooker!

I really like lasagna. It’s one of my favorite pasta dishes. When I make it, it’s always hit or miss though. I’m a little hesitant to try it in my slow-cooker.
