We had a busy weekend last week. Aside from a soccer game on Saturday, we also had a family Sunday Funday. We went to this place that offers a lot of fun for the whole family to enjoy. But I’m going to talk about that later. For now, I’m going to talk about where we went after the fun. Well, it was also fun. Our tummies had fun, to be precise. 🙂
This time around though, it was me who gave the treat. It’s usually the hubs who treats us…the last time being at IHOP. I took my boys to Panera Bread. I’d heard a lot about this place so I’ve been wanting to sample what they had to offer, and they didn’t disappoint.
The entrance alone already boasts a cute facade. The inside is equally cute as well. There was a small fireplace as soon as we walked in the door and I already loved the ambiance as soon as I saw it. But we didn’t sit in that area of the restaurant. I always prefer sitting in booths so we went to the area where they were at.
Knowing that the place is a bakery, I had this idea that there would be nobody to seat us nor a server to serve us, and I was right. I’ve been to Atlanta Bread Company before, that’s why.
And we filled our tummies with all these goodness.
It was chilly that day so I was really aiming for a bowl of soup and I had this Broccoli Cheddar Soup plus a Chicken, Ham & Swiss Flatbread sandwich and a bottle of orange juice.
The little one was glad as soon as he saw the Classic Grilled Cheese on the menu. He loves grilled cheese big time. And it came with a small bag of potato chips…one of his faves too.
As usual, both my son and I each had a bottle of orange juice.
The husband had this Vegetarian Autumn Squash Soup and it came with flatbread. Their flatbread is really good and it reminded me of my elementary school days where we were given a piece of bread that almost tasted the same as their flatbread.
Iced tea…the husband’s choice of beverage all the time wherever we go. As per him, that’s the southern boy in him.
We really enjoyed our meal at Panera Bread. Until next time!
Have you been to Panera Bread?
Oh how I love Panera. I get an avocado and turkey sandwich there whenever I go and I love them.
Panera Bread is one of our family’s favorite places to eat. Their food is so delicious, and they have great service.
We are just stating to get Panera down here, but I used to live where they were all over the place. I loved them! I will have to go home for a visit and check out their menu.
We do not have Panera in Canada yet. But if we did I would definitely order the grilled cheese as well. 🙂
I love Panera. I have not been there in a while but their black bean soup is my ultimate favorite!
I wont lie… my husband got me hooked on Panera! I can’t wait to go again!

I love to go to Panera Bread every now and then. Their Mediterranean sandwich is my favorite!
I’ve been a couple of times but they aren’t located close to me. My sister is totally addicted and close several times a week.
Panera Bread is a fantastic place to have a delicious meal. We just had one open in our neighborhood.
My last meal would have to be the Greek salad from Panera. I love that place, my best friend and I love going there for some catching up.
Panera is one of my favorites!!! My daughter also gets the grilled cheese every time! For being such a basic sandwich it does look pretty yummy!
