Summertime is grilling time! That’s how it is here and I think we are not the only ones who always look forward to summer grilling time. We definitely take advantage of the warm weather and enjoy our deck as much as we can with our favorite grilled summer recipes and the delicious side dishes that goes with them. And of course, the 4th of July is no exception. But more often than not, we usually spend our 4th of July at my brother-in-law’s house and we just take food to share. And for me, the perfect potluck dishes consist of easy to prepare summer recipes such as Bratwurst Kabobs and Suddenly Pasta Salad. They’re both ready in minutes taking less energy and giving you more time to enjoy the day with your family.
Bratwurst sausages are already delicious on their own, but I always prefer to have vegetables with our meal. So to the oh-so-tasty Bratwurst Kabobs I add my favorite veggies: zucchini, yellow squash and cherry tomatoes.
For us, no meal is complete without a side dish or side dishes. I could either go with an elaborate side dish especially if I have all the time in the world. But when it comes to gatherings where I want to spend more time with my family rather than spend all the time in the kitchen, easy and quick side dishes like Suddenly Salad by Betty Crocker is without a doubt the best option. Those bratwurst kabobs look really good! I’ve been trying to stay away from so much bread, so this will be my new way to have brats. I love the pasta salad too. That’s so much easier than from scratch.
Bratwurst is a cook out/Fourth of July stable. I love that you can do so many different things with them and they go great with various side dishes.

I love the Betty Crocker Sudden Pasta Salads and use them every time I host a backyard party. Never thought about making bratwurst kabobs before but they look delicious so I’ll have to try them out.

I love the suddenly pasta salad sides. THey are so easy to prepare and it is a huge hit among my nieces and nephew. These kabobs also look great! Totally agree that this meal would be a pot luck hit.
