Happy Monday! It’s the start of another work week and I hope your week is off to a great start. School is still three more weeks away, but this week is already going to be busy for us in regard to our son’s extra-curricular activities. But I am not complaining because I love supporting our little kiddo all the way in whatever it is he loves to do. For as long as it benefits him, then both the hubs and I are here to support him.
So how was your weekend? Ours was a combination of business and leisure. We headed out to the lake – Lake Louise to be exact, on Saturday, to take photos for an upcoming sponsored post. Glad to finally cross that out on my to-do list.
I love this lake a lot because it is just beautiful. And those ducks were just an added bonus. What a delight it is to see them that day. We’ve been to the lake several times, but that day was our first time to see them there, lots of them.
And look how they lined up on the lake going towards the fountain. Such a cute sight, isn’t it?
Then Saturday night was taco night. Honestly, we’ve had tacos in the past, but that was the first time that we’ve made our own tacos here at home. A friend on Instagram shared her recipe with me and we made some right away. They were so good and I’m already thinking now of having another taco night ASAP. 🙂
Sunday was a lazy day. It rained most of the day which made it a good excuse to be lazy not to mention, it was very conducive to just sit on the couch and munch on these delicious Danish butter cookies while watching with the hubs our fave major league baseball team, the Atlanta Braves play. And hey, we won, 6-3. Woot! Gotta love the Braves!
How about you? How was your weekend? I hope it was fun!
