I’ve always loved banana bread, but I always just buy it at the grocery store. I remember cooking it for the very first time though way back in my high school days with my sister but I don’t have her recipe. I knew I wanted to prepare one here at home, but I just didn’t have the urge to look for a recipe online to try. The store bought banana bread was delicious after all. It also saves me time and energy. And then I saw Joanna Gaines’ blog post sharing her fresh banana bread. All of a sudden I had this urge and excitement to try her recipe out.
I’ve been a fan of Joanna Gaines and her show Fixer Upper which she’s shared with her husband, Chipper Gaines, for a while now. Are you a fan too? I can’t remember exactly how I came across their TV show and when, but I do remember seeing her for the first time and checking her nationality immediately online. I am an Asian, and I knew then for sure that she is also Asian because of her features, but I wasn’t sure of her nationality. That was how I remembered it all starting and I was a fan of their show ever since.
If you don’t know yet, Joanna has a blog and she shares her recipes from time to time. Her banana bread recipe looked so easy and quick to make with only few ingredients – which made me decide to give it a try.
And as expected, it was really good! It was so good I had it for dessert for days until it was gone. My husband and son both enjoyed it too. Thank you, Joanna Gaines for sharing your recipe!

Joanna Gaines banana bread I have not tried but now I might have too. I love making easy quick recipes and this one looks like one of them plus we all love banana bread in my house. Thanks for sharing the recipe idea.

I haven’t made banana bread in forever. I will have to make some. I usually make banana muffins since I don’t have a good bread pan.
