Happy Food Trip Friday!
I did mention on my September recap that we went on a special road trip this past Sunday. Yup, we went to Atlanta. That trip was truly an exciting one for us and having dinner at Hard Cafe in downtown Atlanta was just a part of it. The big part will come to the blog soon. I’ll blog about it and so will the hubs. For now, since it’s Friday, let me share first our dinner at this restaurant this past Sunday night.
The traffic in Atlanta on Sunday was just so crazy. We’d been to Atlanta a few times, but that was the first time that we’ve encountered such crazy traffic. But I think that was expected because of the big event that happened there last Sunday. More about that event soon.
Hard Rock Cafe is located right in front of the hotel where we stayed at which was definitely a good thing. At least we didn’t have to drive anywhere else. They do have a restaurant in the hotel, but the choices were minimal. We’d never been to a Hard Rock Cafe restaurant so that was the perfect choice.
I had this Mushroom and Swiss burger. I love mushrooms and that was the main reason why I ordered this. But I didn’t get to finish it all so I took the rest to the hotel.
Our little one’s chicken wings. As you can see, he had already started eating some of them before I could even take the picture. 🙂 It was spicy alright, but would you believe it was gone in a heartbeat? I sure am not sure where my son got his love for spicy food – my dad or my mom, maybe. I was kidding him the whole time that he was already smoking from the hotness of the wings.
Of course, if there’s orange juice, it’s got to be mine and my son’s chosen drink. Pardon the blurry image. I didn’t realize it was like this until I uploaded the photo.
The hubs ordered a burger too – bacon and cheese burger. He already grabbed it before I could even take a photo so no image here. 🙂
With rock music playing in the background while we were eating, it was a good dinner night for us at Hard Rock Cafe. I love the decor as well – those memorabilia from famous artists were totally awesome.

Hard Rock Cafe is the best place to eat. Period. I love to sit and eat a good burger with some awesome fries surrounded by all of that rock and roll.
I went there one time, on me and my hubby’s honeymoon. It was so fun and the food was really good. I want to go back soon!

I have always wanted to go to a Hard Rock Cafe. I will be in Atlanta in the new year. I will have to check it out. The food looks so delicious.
I don’t think I have eaten at a Hard Rock cafe, I’ll definitely have to give it a try when I am near one again. Maybe Vegas!

We have a Hard Rock in Orlando and it is so yummy! I love their burgers and cocktails. Fun place to eat!
It’s been a few years since I have been to a Hard Rock Cafe. I had a great time there and enjoyed a delicious meal.
It sounds like you had an awesome time in Atlanta. I have never eaten at any Hard Rock Cafe before but heard the food is amazing. The mushroom and swiss burger is one I would love to try for sure. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Sounds like your son has good taste, I have to try the wings pretty much everywhere I go. Love them, never had them at a Hard Rock before.
