As a mom, there was never a game that I didn’t say a prayer for my son’s safety on the field. As we know, accidents happen and they can happen anytime. I love that idea! Soccer is a lot more dangerous for a head than people realize. I can’t count how many times I’ve seen players collide. Even just hitting the ball with your head puts strain on it.
That is a fantastic idea! All athletes should have more access to protective headgear. I can see something like this being used for basketball, as well.

I played high competitive soccer and head injuries ARE common as well as many other injuries (major contact sport!) I wish we would have had these headbands for safety during my years of playing! at least they’re thinking of it now : )
This sounds like a great product to help protect against head injuries. I was always scared of this when I did a head ball. I am thankful that I never got a concussion when I used to pay soccer.

This is a great idea, but I probably balk at it because I was a rough and tumble tomboy who played sports, including soccer.
Looks like a good added layer of protection. I coached our son for a year and they do a really good job with teaching coaches what to look for also.
