Happy Food Trip Friday!
In a couple of weeks it’s going to be St. Patrick’s Day! Other than hubby taking me to an Irish Pub a few years back to celebrate St Pat’s, we’re not really big into it though he is truly Irish as he shared in one of his posts here. We didn’t get drunk though. 🙂 Hubby just had a glass of his favorite Irish potable, Guinness Stout Ale, along with a shot of Irish whisky and I had me a glass of juice. We planned for me to be the designated driver that night so that’s why I had juice instead of beer. 😉
With the hubs having Irish blood, I don’t really know why we don’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day that much. But I was thinking of changing that this year and if my time will allow, I’m going to prepare some desserts for us.
So today I searched online for the cutest desserts there are for St. Patrick’s Day and look at what I found!
They are almost too pretty to eat, aren’t they? And I love all the colors!
How about you? How are you going to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? Are you going to prepare cute desserts like these?
And to end this post, here’s an Irish Blessing for you.
“May your blessings outnumber
The shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go.”
~ Irish Blessing
