Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
What are you up to today? I have nothing planned, but I think the hubs does. I think I’m smelling some dark beer coming from the kitchen. Hee-hee. Nah, he mentioned something about getting some, but he hasn’t left yet so I’m not sure if he’s going to continue with the plan. But knowing him and his Irish roots, I’m sure there’ll be a mug of Guinness Stout Ale touching his lips soon.
Anywho, after sharing the five cute desserts for St. Patrick’s Day a few weeks ago, I thought of sharing more treats today. And this time, I thought of sharing shamrock shaped goodies after I saw the plaid cookies. Like, hello?! How pretty are those plaid cookies? I am a huge fan of anything plaid…from scarfs to coats, etc. I surely have never thought of plaid cookies until I stumbled upon them on the world wide web today.
So I decided to check more shamrock shaped cookies and look at these cuties! I am always amazed by people’s creativity. I wish I was as creative as them, but since I am not, I may just collect their recipes and try to follow them as best as I can…one treat at a time. 🙂
Below are the links to each treat which are all shown in the photo above.
- Plaid Shamrock Cookies
- Clover Rice Krispie Treats
- Chocolate Marshmallow Shamrock Pops
- Green Velvet Cheesecake Shamrocks
- Shamrock Wonton Crackers
- Baileys Salted Caramel Chocolate Shamrocks
- Shamrock Ice Cream Treats
So what do you think about these treats? They’re almost too pretty to eat, huh?
Have a great day, folks! And as per the hubs, don’t forget to wear green if you don’t want to get pinched. 🙂

I didn’t partake in St Patricks Day festivities this year. Mint and chocolate are one of my favorite combinations so I could do those year round.
I want to try the green velvet cheesecake. Yum, two of my other favorite combos.

I love theses. The ice cream shaped shamrock would be even better if it were done with pistachio ice cream, one of my fave!
