The celebration of Father’s Day this coming Sunday brought me into creating this post to give tribute to these two special fathers.
First off, my husband who has been my unico hijo’s Dad for the last seven years. He has been very supportive of him since day one when it comes to his school activities…from music to art, sports and all the other milestone he has reached or accomplished since he started 2nd grade here in the U.S. Our son has just finished freshman in high school and he was still there giving him his full support in whatever he wants to do in school.
A Spectacular Father’s Day celebration a couple of years ago followed by a dinner at P.F. Chang’s
My husband is a history buff and he has taught my son a lot about history. And now that he is already in high school, he has a big interest in history too which actually prompted him to take World History Honors which his teacher recommended him to take.
Trip to the BIltmore Estate
He has taken him to different places and showed him the beauty and history of the country.
An Antietam Moment on our way home from Baltimore
This was a great spur of the moment trip on our way home from visiting a friend in Maryland. This was the first time that he taught and showed so much about history to my son. And like he always says, there is still so much to see and he has still so much to show to us.
Next and last but not the least is my Dad, the head of the family. He is the most hard working human being that I have ever known. Me and my three siblings were able to graduate college and earn our Bachelor’s Degree because of his hard work. We never had to work as students like some did nor had any loans to support our college education because of him. And it was not just a university, it was the best Catholic university in the city of General Santos…Notre Dame of Dadiangas University. I am so proud of my Dad and so grateful of all the things he did for us.
So I wish these two wonderful humans a Happy Father’s Day and all the best that life has to offer. All the best of health and love not only this Father’s Day, but always.♥

Thank you, Sarah!
They both sound like wonderful men. Your dad worked VERY hard and it looks like it paid off! Not working through college? What a blessing!!!
This is such a sweet post for the dads in your life. There’s nothing like honoring those who’ve been a huge part of our lives.

This is a beautiful tribute for your dad and your husband! I miss my dad, he doesn’t live in USA, I will definitely call him tomorrow.
Happy birthday to both of those amazing fathers. My dad is a history buff also. We spent a lot of time exploring, especially on the east coast, when I was growing up.
Happy Father’s Day! I hope he had a great day. We surprised my husband with a homemade cake and my lil one got him his favorite chocolate.
Happy Father’s day to all the hard working dads out there. You all deserve nothing but the best!
