After visiting Currahee Military Museum, we headed here. It was only about three miles from the museum. The front desk clerk gave us directions and we found it immediately.
This sign was located at the bottom of the mountain right before you go up the road.
It was a dirt road up to the top and it was a pretty bumpy and scary ride.
We made it to the top. Ain’t the view lovely? There’s my hubby and our son enjoying the beautiful view!
The famous stone on top of the mountain. The stone was also featured in the mini-series ‘Band of Brothers.’ You’ve got to watch it to understand it.
