Gatlinburg, Tennessee

There are a lot of small towns or cities close to where we live that are oftentimes visited by tourist. Or what Hubby calls as “tourist trap.” LOL. These places maybe small, but what they offer is certainly big.

On my birthday this year, my husband surprised me with a trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The place is only a two hour drive from our city. We left here at 9 o’clock in the morning and got there at around 11 o’clock.

It was a glorious day. The sun was shining so brightly which is without a doubt the best time to explore a place. And we certainly had a great time!

I like Gatlinburg a lot. There were so much to see. And since we were only there for a day, we didn’t get to see it all. There were a lot of tourists too so just imagine the traffic.

I am a little scared of height, but I wanted to experience riding in that cable car. It goes up to the mountain – I don’t know how high it was – and it seems fun. But Hubby had other plans and we will not have enough time for it if we will ride the cable car so, maybe next time.

These guys played bluegrass music using different kinds of instruments. It was awesome. Very talented individuals there.

We just watched for a few minutes after Hubby had his free shots of Moonshine Tennessee whiskey. Wished I had taken a photo of him. He didn’t get drank, okay?

This building was full of different establishments offering food and entertainment. See the crowd?
