September may have came and went by so quickly, but we got a lot accomplished, blog wise so, we feel fulfilled and accomplished more than ever. That being said, I think it is best to recap what we shared last month. We love to reminisce good times around here.
First off, the blog revamp. I started this blog in 2008 and invited my husband (who was still my fiance’ then) to co-author with me and he joined me in 2009. It focused on our travels and trips until the revamp. This blog will now talk about our family, home, leisure and life in general – a potpourri of stories which makes it more interesting, I guess.
Both the husband and I and even our little one are lovers of music. It is one among the many things that we entertain ourselves with. Hubby talked about his love for music as well as how he is enjoying the new age technology with regards to watching TV. Apart from being music lovers, we also love to watch movies on weekend nights and of course, his favorite sport ever which is Atlanta Braves baseball.
I reminisced about our first autumn experience on the Blue Ridge Parkway, as well as our White House tourist moment. Hubby also narrated about our first trip to a battlefield as family in An Antietam Moment.
Autumn finally arrived in September which I so look forward to happening for so many reasons – the fashions, soccer and a lot more. And since autumn has just started, there will be more stories about it in the coming weeks until Ol’ Man Winter comes roaring in..
Last but not the least, September is my birth month and for this foodie, it had to be special. After sharing with you my favorite food app, I talked about the special birthday dinner that I had with my two favorite people. ‘Twas yummy!
And that’s about it. Oh, did I mention about hubby’s dream car? Got to check that one out!
I want to take this opportunity to thank all of those who follow us on our Facebook page. We created a page after we decided to do the revamp and we hit 100 likes today. That is something to celebrate about, is it not?
Happy Hump Day, to all! It’s downhill to the weekend. Thank you, everyone! Have a great rest of the week!
