Hello December! My most favorite time of the year is finally here. Can you believe it? We were busy this weekend and got a little of our Christmas shopping done as well as decking the house with boughs of holly..(“,). And today is no different. My eyes were glued on the computer checking my favorite stores for great deals and I got lucky to grab some. Thank you, Cyber Monday! I think I am done Christmas shopping for my boys. Not unless I spot another great deal.
But enough about the Cyber Monday madness. For now, I’ll be taking you again to the month that was. A month that was full of surprises and fun. Enough reasons for me to say that we are truly blessed.
My hubby, Harry took you all on a nostalgia trip of our summer vacay to Atlanta, Georgia. He gave you a treat with a coke in hand into the World of Coca-Cola. He also taught you what he knows about the history of Atlanta through what he learned at the Atlanta Cyclorama and Civil War Museum. Lastly, he gave you a tour of the CNN Center.
And guess what guys? The series doesn’t end there. There’s more yet to come because he’s been a little bit lazy and has not written about the grand finale to that busy day. And just to give you a heads up, there will be two more places that he is going to share after that one. Uh oh! I hope he won’t bore you. LOL.
Fall soccer has ended with a bang, and we are so looking forward to spring for the next season. For now our son will be playing other things inside our house unless the weather would be nice enough for us to go somewhere to kick some balls around. I do hope he won’t be kicking the ball inside and breaking things. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
For the first time since this blog started, I shared some recipes. I’m so glad to have shared them with you like my late mother-in-law June’s brownies and my own version of Garlic Shrimp or Gambas al Ajillo. I hope I will get to share more later.
Oh how I miss the Filipino food back home. Thinking about it now is making me hungry. And how about some desserts? A meal is surely not complete without them, right?
The month of November is mine and my son’s anniversary month when we arrived here in the U.S. Like I said in that post, we arrived here two days before Thanksgiving and that is one of the reasons why November is so special for us. There are just a lot of happy and good memories in that month.
This November will also be the month that our blog was invited to join a fantastic network and we were over the moon. I think you already have an idea what network it is. So thankful we are.
So there you have it. How was your November?
