A couple of nights ago, the husband asked me what I wanted for our wedding anniversary which is just around the corner. I looked at him and was amused. You know why? There are already two gift bags (one big and one small) sitting in front of the fireplace for me. My sneaky husband strikes again and brought those two gift bags in last Saturday. I can’t open them yet, of course. I am also prohibited to peek or even touch. All I can do is stare. Poor me.
At first I thought he was kidding when he asked me the question. But he said he was serious. So even though there are already gifts waiting for me to open, I am more than happy to tell him what’s on my wish list. He asked so he shall receive. And today, I am giving him the answer. He actually laughed when I told him he’s going to find my answer on the blog. He just gave me an idea what to blog about and I thanked him for that.
So here you go, Honey!
First off, not to worry because all of these are on SALE at Nordstrom. Except for the wrap cardigan, everything else is under $25. Woot!
You know I love stripes! The first wrap cardigan that I saw was plain though, but the style was what got me. And I am more than delighted when they have it in stripes.
I’ve always wanted aviator sunglasses but have never seen any that I like. And then I saw these for only $12. Can’t beat that price!
Something that I used to hate, but can’t live without now – a must-have during wintertime. And with that color, it’ll be perfect to wear on Valentine’s Day here at home.
And…you don’t have to get me this one. I just find it cute and thought it speaks so much about you. What do you think? (“,)
That ends the blog post for the hubs.
So yeah, this may have been something for the hubs to read, but I figured, maybe you could get ideas from my wish list too.

Brilliant idea! I want to do the same thing now, lol! My husband never exchange Valentine’s gifts but this would be a great way to give him the ‘hint’ about what I might want, one of these years, lol!
LOL. I actually never thought of this until he asked me the question. I might do another one for Valentine’s. (“,)
My husband and I don’t exchange anniversary gifts. We actually take that money we would have spent on gifts and go away for a weekend.
That’s a great idea too. (“,)
I a absolutely in love with the striped cardigan. It is so smart looking with jeans and just a plain tee.
I know, right? (“,)
Sweater socks are always great gifts. They are guaranteed to see a lot of use. I love receiving them on special occasions.
Totally agree with you. (“,)
What great choices! Love the caridgan and socks.
All of these gifts were great. I would be excited to receive any one of them as a gift.
Brilliant idea with the mug hahaha! My partner can definitely use that every day LOL!
LOL. I can’t help but laugh. That’s why I added that mug there because it’s just too funny.
Oh I love this all but that fleece wrap cardigan is beautiful! My anniversary is coming up I need to do this too!
Go ahead, Jeanine. (“,)
Mirrored aviators is definitely a favourite look of mine. I don’t know HOW many (fake) pairs I own. But I love them all.
Those aviator glasses really do it for me! I actually have 3 pairs of them! Although my hubby and I have a ‘no gifts’ rule. We just try to plan a vacation out of town 🙂
I totally do this for my husband as well! We have amazon wish lists that we add to every once in a while, so we just pick something from the list for all holidays!
I must admit that my boyfriend and myself are both terrible at giving gifts. Maybe it’s because we know each other too well and we know that we do not like most material things. So our gifts to ourselves are in the form of traveling and just spending quality time with some good food.
Our anniversary falls during the winter so we don’t plan any travel. Aside from giving each other presents, we also make sure to enjoy quality time and good food somewhere. (“,)
These are awesome gifts. I know I’d love them and my Hubs would too!
That mug made me chuckle! I would love the shades or that wrap though, it’s gorgeous!
Too funny, right? Hubby chuckled too. (“,)
LOL at the cup!! I love the sweater socks, I could use that today, it’s a snowy mess out there.
Hah! That mug is hilarious! Love that!
That mug is actually pretty cool. We have a while before our anniversary (Nov) so I have a little bit of planning time. His birthday is in May and he wants a flat panel tv for his man cave. Maybe he’ll get a mug instead 🙂
The mug would be so much better than the TV. LOL.
I really like the sun glasses and the mug. I hope my husband gave me a gift like this.
Cozy socks and sunglasses! Those are awesome ideas.
I am her too, lol. I’d love the wrap cardigan.
I like stripes too, and that One-Button Fleece Wrap Cardigan that you’ve featured is very cute. Great picks…and a happy pre-Anniversary.
Thank you, Yona! (“,)
Can I just say first off, I love the title of your post. This is so cute and I agree that they are great gifts for me!
Thank you. (“,)
Bobbi would love the sweater socks. She is always complaining about cold feet.
I would love the sweater socks my husband is always laughing at me for how cold my feet are!! And personally I think the coffee mug would be perfect gift for him!! Great collection of anniversary gifts!
Ha! I love that mug. I just lost my aviators. I’ll have to check these out. Happy anniversary!
Thanks for sharing this gift ideas! If I am the recipient, I’ll be happy with the socks!
