I hope you all had a fun-filled Easter Sunday celebrated with family and friends. As usual, we celebrated Easter with family at my in-laws’ house. When the kids’ were younger, we used to have an Easter egg hunt there. But now that they’re too old for it, we just spend time chitchatting and catching up while enjoying the good food that my sister-in-law prepared. I am not going to lie, I always look forward not only to spending time with family, but to the delicious dishes that she always prepares. And there’s a huge amount of food always – more than enough for us all. Now I feel like I’m hungry again just thinking about all the food that we had yesterday. 🙂
How cute are these chocolate cupcakes? These were just one of the desserts that we had. I actually shared this on my Instagram yesterday. My sister-in-law baked the cupcakes and my nieces were the ones who decorated it. Those eggs were white chocolate coated almonds.
But before we headed to my in-laws’ house in the early afternoon, I munched on these delicious chocolate Easter coins first that the hubs and I bought at the store. Both my son and I have always loved chocolate coins, but that was the first time that we had Easter chocolate coins and that was because that was the first time that I’ve seen them at the store. Gotta love how colorful they were.
This was the Easter egg that we got our son. It is so big I kidded that it is a dinosaur egg. Our son was wide-eyed when he saw it not because he loves dinosaurs, but because it was the biggest chocolate egg that he had seen so far. 🙂
And inside the huge egg were these chocolate balls that is filled with white chocolate inside. I had one and it was really good! Well, I am a chocoholic so any chocolate is good for me. I do have my all-time chocolate brand though. Check out my Instagram to find out which one it is. 😉
Yup, it was definitely a chocolatey kind of day here at home yesterday.

We had a great Easter Sunday. Friends came over and we did an egg hunt and had lunch and just chatted for a while! I love days like that.

My kids got chocolate eggs with a peep inside.. I wish I would have seen something like the one you have with the balls inside. I bet it would have been tastier!
