We made it to Friday! And let’s celebrate the end of yet another work week with beautiful flowers, shall we? Well, why not? It is this time of year when we get to celebrate these beauties in their full glory with all those different gorgeous blooms in different colors. Such pretty sight to see for our dear eyes.
This is the same part of Interstate 26 close to where we live where I also took photos of these beautiful sunflowers and zinnias last year. It was in late summer last year though when they had the sunflowers and zinnias…around August. At this time of year, they have different flowers planted in the area. I can’t remember exactly if they had these same flowers planted there last year. All I can say, these gorgeous purple flowers are so hard not to miss and so hard to resist taking photos of.
With all those purple flowers, you would have never noticed a white colored one among the bunch until you’re up close.
And there was a pink one too!
Honestly, I have no idea what kind of flowers these are. I’ll have to ask my sister-in-law because she’s so into flowers too. But if you have any idea what these flowers are, please do let me know in the comments below.
And there I was. While I was busy photographing the beautiful purple flowers using my DSLR, my husband was busy snapping photos of me too. Good job, Honey!
I’ve always loved the color purple and I’ve always been a flower lover. Put two and two together and you should know that I’m not going to miss it for the world to share them. And my matching top is just a lovely addition. 🙂
The heat is on and summer is in full swing. Enjoy it to the fullest. Have a great weekend!

It’s so much fun to drive by a find like that in nature. Sometimes, all you need is a field of color to make your day. Mother Nature is so gorgeous.

I love looking at wildflowers! We don’t really have any that look like that where we live that’s for sure. We have a lot of wild daisy’s and some Alberta roses.
Those sure are beautiful!

These are such pretty flowers. I have always wanted to grow lavender in my yard but never got around to it. I think I will see if it is too late now because I want some.
