“Christmas is over, Honey… until next year.” That’s what the hubs told me last night before we went to bed. And when I asked him how his Christmas was, he replied…”It was wonderful!” 🙂
Our Christmas was indeed wonderful. Although I can’t think of a Christmas that was not wonderful. But what made it more special this year was for the hubs to celebrate it once more after his near-death experience in January this year. So for him, the fact to celebrate Christmas again was more than a gift itself. And I couldn’t agree more with him. ♥
As always, we celebrated Christmas Eve with the family. My SIL is always the one who hosts it and she always prepares the most delicious meal, from the main dish to the desserts. We opened gifts after dinner and it is always a joy to watch the kids open their gifts one by one. There were lots of gifts for the kiddos as always, but I will never get tired of seeing those delighted faces after they saw what was inside. After the gifts were opened, we spent time chitchatting and just hanging around and taking pictures.
Our little family of three! ♥♥♥
Christmas Day was spent with the same tradition. We got up mid-morning and sat around the Christmas tree and opened our gifts. I think we are not the only ones who excitedly look forward to that fun and exciting moment.
Then we had dinner again at the same restaurant that we’ve went to to have our Christmas dinner for five years now…TGI Fridays!
Our son ordered this Chicken Sesame for our starter.
And ordered this as his entree. That’s how he loves chicken so much!
Hubby’s French Dip sandwich.
And my steak with mashed potatoes and rice pilaf. So good!
Love capturing candid photos of this little man who was then having a good conversation with his dad.
How was your Christmas celebration? Hope it was wonderful like ours!

Merry Christmas to you and your family. I had back surgery two days before Christmas last year and the dr told me that I coukd go home on Christmas day. The first few weeks were very painful. Just like your husband, I am thankful for a second chance. My surgery stabilized my spine to prevent any furthsr damage. 4

How nice! It has been ages and ages since I’ve been to TGI Fridays, but their food was amazing the few times I’ve been there. 🙂
