Hello April and hello spring! Yay! It’s finally spring! I bet I’m not the only one happy about the fact that it’s officially spring. Lots of blooms are gracing areas in the city already and I couldn’t be more delighted seeing them all. The amount of photos of blooms that I shared here on the blog and on Instagram can attest to that. And let me tell you, those were just the beginning. 😉
And it’s that time again where I recap the happenings here on the blog the previous month. I just love looking back on what the month brought us and sharing them all again just in case you’ve missed one or two that you would have liked or interested you. So here you go…my 2017 March recap!
FAMILY
March has been a busy month yet exciting because spring soccer has started so practices and games are keeping us busy. But it’s always fun to watch those kids play. And of course, spring is in full force which is making me so happy. I think we’re getting another cold snap later this week, but no biggy! That is just for a day or two and the warm temps will be here again. Woot!
March is also for March Madness and our favorite team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, made it this far and are going to play tonight for the National Championship. Sometime I feel like I’m going to have a heart attack watching these games. We watched the Final Four on Saturday and it was exciting yet nerve wracking at the same time. Whew! We can’t wait to watch tonight! Good luck to the Heels!
The hubs loves rereading books. This week, he finished reading the seven-volume series, The Dark Tower, by his most favorite author, Stephen King. It’s a fascinating journey of over a thousand pages into a world only Stephen King could have created, and hubby blogged about it last month as well.
FOOD
Last month’s celebration of St. Patrick’s Day got me into checking for treats on the web. I found a lot of cute stuff and thought of rounding them up and sharing them here. Did you see the 5 cute desserts and the 7 shamrock shaped treats? They were so adorable, weren’t they?
How about those 15 best slow cooker recipes? I’ve already tried cooking some of them and they were good.
Also, have you got you a picky eater like me? Well, I found the answer to that dilemma. Thanks heavens for those delicious chocolates muffins that are made with vegetables!
TRAVEL
We didn’t get to travel anywhere in March and that’s because we have a trip coming soon and we are saving for it. It is what we call an ultimate trip – a trip that we’ve been waiting to happen for a few years now. So excited for it! Will share about that trip here on the blog soon, for sure!
The hubs did share about Craggy Prison that is located here in our town. You might want to check that out if you’re into checking things like that or if you’re into history.
That’s a wrap!
How was your March? Hope it was awesome!

Sounds like a great month! I’ve got to break out my crock pot again. I really need to make the chili I’ve been putting off, we still get snow here til May, so it doesn’t feel quite spring yet, but I am seeing more warmers days here and there!

I didn’t get to travel in March either. I probably won’t go anywhere in April. I do have 3 trips planned for April and June – so thats enough!

Great recap. Where I live, it’s not officially summer, but you can already feel the heat.

This is a great recap of March. I had a great month in March . The main thing that happened to me was moving into a new apartment that I adore and meeting a great neighbor who is now my friend. Thanks for sharing your March recap.

It gives me more interesting about spring. This is really love it. Great post to share.
This weather has been so crazy. Thankfully, we didn’t get snow but then again we never had any hard, deep freezes. I am afraid that the bugs are going to be horrible this summer.
March sounds like a great month! The weather has totally been nuts here. I can’t decide what to wear most days! Hoping Mother Nature chooses soon.
I keep hearing about this March Madness this year, but had never heard of it before! Must be living under a rock, or maybe it’s just not a thing in Canada.
March is a hectic month. Change of seasons, activities, and the weather can’t make up it’s mind.
I always love when bloggers do a monthly recap. It lets me catch up on those I might have missed. One of my favorites from March was the “15 Best Slow-Cooker Recipes” I’ve made a number of them and they have all been really good!
March was rather busy. Learned a lot about myself and my blog.
March was a busy month for us. My son wrapped up basketball and started track. I was happy to say bye to winter and welcome spring.
Whoa! A great recap. Looks you really had so much fun. Fabulous! 🙂
