What makes this day special other than being Friday? I guess you already know! 😉
As a coffee addict or, as per the hubs, a coffeeholic, or whatever you call it, I deemed it necessary to celebrate today’s holiday and make a post about it on this little blog of ours. Both the hubs and I love coffee and we call it our “Power” drink because without it, our mornings will be sluggish. It’s what kicks us to start the day and helps us to boost that energy that we need to keep us going throughout the day. With all the tasks at hand on a daily basis, we sure do need it.
I drink about two to three cups a day and only in the morning, but the hubs drinks more and he would still drink even in the evening. I’m not sure how many he drinks in a day, but I think it varies on his state of mind or cravings.
We have a specific brand of coffee that we love to brew here at home, but I don’t have problems grabbing any kind, especially when we’re out and about. For as long as I can have my sugar and lots of cream, then I’m good-to-go.
I’ve shared some coffee stories here on the blog before, but those coffee moments didn’t really get the center of attention that this special day demands.
Like this coffee on a breakfast date with the hubs…
Or Hubby’s coffee on my birthday dinner…
Other than those special dates, I’ve shared a few on my Instagram account too.
Like this coffee while the hubs was in the hospital…
Or this coffee while we were in our holiday trip to New York City…
I love that view of the mountains surrounding our beautiful city of Asheville, and that view of the Hudson River from our hotel room. There will be more coffee photos to be shared in the future, for sure. I think that’s a given or expected from the certified coffeeholics we are.
Finally, I found this funny quote and I can’t help but share.
COFFEEOLOGY: (via)
Espresso yourself
So many blends, so little time
Take life one sip at a time
Stay grounded
Better Latte than never
Take time to smell the cover
Are you a coffee drinker too? How do you like your coffee?
Happy Friday and I hope you enjoy this day with lotsa cups of coffee!

I am one of the odd people that doesn’t care for coffee. I don’t even like the smell of it. I know. I’m crazy! I wish I liked it. I really did! Especially when I’m freezing in the winter!

Oh wow I did not know today was national coffee day! Yay! I LOVE good coffee! I like mine made in a Chemex or french press preferably. Sometimes black, sometimes with some cream. I LOVE froth on any type of brew!
Enjoy today – I will have an extra cup in honor of National Coffee Day!

I grew up drinking coffee! I think I was 8 years old when I had my first sip of that delicious brew. However, it was when I was in college that I started drinking coffee regularly. I like my morning coffee with sugar, no creamer. At times, I love a nice creamy latte, or a macchiato.
Up Run for Life says
I drink coffee on occassion and typically choose ice coffee over hot coffee. This time of year is my favorite though. My favorite creamer is peppermint mocha. *licking my lips*.
