I just found out today that last Wednesday, October 18 was National Chocolate Cupcake Day here in the United States. Chocolate cupcake is one of my favorite desserts to snack on and I didn’t have a clue that there was actually a day to celebrate it. Shame on me! 🙂 I should have known better because there was National Pancake Day and there was also National Coffee Day that we celebrated just recently.
But I do believe in the saying that it’s better late than never. So I am celebrating National Chocolate Cupcake Day today! I will have this teeny tiny cupcake for snack paired with a glass of orange juice. Yum!
I must admit though, that this chocolate cupcake with pink icing plus five more that I bought yesterday were intended for a sponsored Instagram post that I am going to do next week. A sponsored post that I don’t get any payment for, but it’s my way of helping in my own little way to spread awareness for this cause. Besides I’m not going to lose anything by doing this post not to mention, I am going to enjoy and feed myself some delicious cupcakes.
Noting that it’s a pink cupcake, I bet you already have an idea what the campaign is for. Think pink and October and you get the answer. It’s to signify an awareness month in regard to something all women should be aware of. And why I thought of a pink cupcake? Well, other than having a sweet tooth, I consider myself a food blogger so for my post to be relevant to my niche, I chose the pink cupcake. So watch out for that post on Instagram next week.
Have a great Friday and may your weekend be fabulous! Enjoy fall to the fullest y’all!

Is it bad that I wish that every single day was National Cupcake Day? I also wish each month was dedicated to raising awareness for different diseases…such as colon cancer, which has a great effect on my life.

I love that they have a National Cupcake Day and I’m glad you chose a pink cupcake. The more women are reminded to do their monthly self-breast exams, the better. Have a great fall weekend, too!

I am with you on eating more then 1 of those little cupcakes! The littles ones aren’t enough to curb a sweet tooth, you always have to have at least 3 😉
