If you visit our beautiful little city of Asheville here in Western North Carolina, chances are, you would come across or drive by one or two of those creative and amazing graffiti or murals around. The first ones that I came across were the ones located in downtown which I’ve been meaning to take photos of and share here. Hopefully I’ll get to that soon.
Then I discovered the murals at the River Arts District which I shared here before. Those are the murals located on Lyman Street. Then I discovered the ones below.
We missed seeing these murals on our trip to Lyman Street. These murals are also located at the River Arts District, but on Roberts Street near one of the famous taco restaurants here in the city called White Duck Taco Shop.
So one beautiful fall day a couple of weeks ago, the hubs and I decided to enjoy the weather and searched for this beautiful spot. I’ve seen a lot of people online that have had their photos taken here.
I definitely admire the artist who did this “Good Vibes” graffiti. In the world we live in now where it seems like negativity is high, we sure could use a lot of good vibes. Don’t you think so too?
I have no idea what was in this place before. Even my husband who was raised and born here doesn’t have a clue. But since there is the huge “Good Vibes” silo and all the remaining foundations for silos, there had to have been a granary mill here once upon a time.
There’s the hubs giving you all the good vibes that he could with the sweetest smile he could give. 😉
And here’s a look at the back of the silo. Hats off to the artist or artists who did this amazing graffiti in this part of Asheville.
Have a great start of the week y’all! And yes, let’s think good vibes only, shall we? 🙂

This is a cool place to visit. I’m always amazed at how talented the graffiti artists are. There are cities that actually hire them to paint nice visual art around the city to give them a purpose to use their talents for good. Instead, of them destroying other people’s property.

What a fun trip! Nashville sure has a LOT of beautiful “street” (silo) arts! I love the arts on that silo.
Lynndee says
Hi Marielle, it’s Asheville in North Carolina and not Nashville. 🙂

Graffiti really has become its own appreciated medium of artwork. Lots of graffiti artists are starting to get acclaim and make careers from their efforts. I personally prefer when graffiti is done in cooperation with the community like the way it has been done in your post so it really is an artistic endeavor compared to people just tagging random property around town which is more vandalism than art.

I love that even in the small town I live in there are spaces with local artist’s work. I also love to see the art work on trains.
