Happy Monday! Hope your week is off to a great start. It’s gloomy in our neck of the woods today, but at least the temp will be in the 60’s…the highest for the week. And when the weather is like this, I crave for one of my favorite comfort foods which is Chinese food. I love Chinese food and so does my husband and son. It’s our favorite cuisine to grab when we decide to have takeout.
I love to cook and I do meal planning, but two days in a week are reserved for either a takeout, an oven pizza or a leftover. That way we don’t waste leftovers and I also get to enjoy a laid back night not having to cook which the hubs usually jokes as my day-off. đŸ™‚
Speaking of Chinese food, one thing that I look forward to reading every time is the fortune cookie quotes. We usually get three fortune cookies every time we order (the lady at our favorite Chinese restaurant already knows us and knows that there are three of us). I am the only one who gets excited reading those quotes though. My husband and son prefer to concentrate on their food than these cookies. đŸ™‚
It’s really fun for me to know what’s inside and if I like it, I take a photo of it and share it with my friends and families on Facebook. Mind you, I’m not the only one who finds those fortune cookie quotes fun among my friends and family.

There was a time that they had these fortune cookie quotes by Po. I think this was the time when Kung Fu Panda was shown in theaters. Our son loved those movies.

These are always fun to read. I know they really don’t mean much but sometimes you can find a way to apply what they have to say. Some of them are just a great reminder to have fun and do well with your life.
One of my favorite parts of getting takeout is reading the fortunes at the end. I actually order extra fortune cookies just to have for a few days.
