I truly believe in the saying that there is always, always, something to be thankful for. Since it’s Thanksgiving week, I decided to write down 100 things that I am thankful for. And there could be more, but I narrowed it down to a hundred. But believe me when I say that I am always thankful not just for the big things, but even the tiniest little things.
1. My partner in crime and the love of my life, my husband, Harry.
2. The other love of my life, my unico hijo, Yogi.
3. My family. My parents, my sister in the Philippines and my two brothers in Singapore and Canada respectively.
4. My nieces and nephews.
5. My health and my husband and son’s health.
6. My education or knowledge in general.
7. Food on the table.
8. A house we call home.
9. Four seasons…winter, spring, summer and fall.
10. My in laws here in the U.S. as well as in the Philippines and Canada.
11. Coffee. Can’t start my day without it.
12. Weekends. For that much-needed R&R.
13. Rains.
14. The beauty of autumn.
15. Rainbows.
16. Sunrises.
17. Sunsets.
18. A location that is close to everything that I could think of.
19. A good night’s sleep.
20. My car. I named her Tweety because Tweety Bird is my favorite cartoon character.
21. Random acts of kindness.
22. Smiles. Even from total strangers.
23. Funny moments. Laughter is the best medicine, after all.
24. Lazy Sundays.
25. Wheat bread paired with my coffee.
26. Dinners at home with my husband and son, whom I call my boys.
27. My Crock Pot Multi-Cooker. Such an amazing piece of kitchen equipment.
28. Home-cooked meals.
29. Holiday dinners at my in-laws. My SIL is an amazing cook!
30. Surprise snail mails.
31. Free shipping. Love shopping online and free shipping is my best friend.
32. Being able to work from home.
33. Surprise gifts.
34. Awesome deals, whether online or offline.
35. A beautiful fall day.
36. Access to clean water.
37. Road trips. Traveled to four towns in Georgia last summer.
38. Having the opportunity to travel to New York City at Christmastime.
39. Visiting my family in the Philippines two years in a row.
40. Seeing my family in the Philippines after seven long years.
41. Quality family time.
42. Living in a small city that offers a lot.
43. Country music. I’m a country girl.
44. The different kinds of birds that hangs out in our yard.
45. The squirrels. Always fun watching them chase each other.
46. Our neighbor’s sweet dog, Madigan, whom we’ve nicknamed Maddy. She pays us a visit almost everyday and barks at our kitchen door to let us know she’s here.
47. Coconut cream pies.
48. Our dishwasher. Never had one in my home country.
49. Christmas music.
50. Christmas movies on Hallmark Channel.
51. Frozen pizza.

53. Finding an Asian store in the U.S.
54. Friends. We may be miles apart, but we’ll always be friends at heart.
55. Stars. They’re simply beautiful.
56. Blogs. After all these years, I’m still enjoying my blog and I also have favorite blogs that I follow.

58. Books. I still have my favorite books that I have kept for years.

60. Good neighbors. We have this neighbor that is always willing to help my husband when it comes to planting flowers. He helped cleared our driveway from snow before too.
