Hello, November! The Holiday season has begun and I couldn’t be more happier. This time of year is just so joyful in spite of it being the busiest. I love the hustle and bustle that the season brings and I’m counting down the days until I put up the Christmas tree. I know, it’s still early to talk about it because we still have Thanksgiving to celebrate. But coming from the Philippines, where Christmas starts in September, can you really blame me? 🙂
Okay, enough about the Holiday season. Let’s head on to what we shared here on the blog last month first. So here you go…our October recap!
Fall
The Holiday season is my favorite time of the year, but my favorite season is definitely fall. We don’t get this kind of season in my home country so I really embrace its beauty and all the other fun things associated with it. I shared15 things I love about fall as well as my favorite fall memory. Hubby also talked about the chills of fall or his memory of fall when he was young.
Food
The food lover that I am, there is always a post about food here on the blog every month. Most of the food trips that I shared last month were from our travels. First was the breakfast at the Taproom in the hotel where we stayed in Savannah, Georgia. Then I shared about the dinner food trippin’ that our family back in the Philippines treated us with before we left for Manila the following day. Lastly, mine and Hubby’s lunch dates while in the Philippines made it to the blog too.
Fun
Other than the beautiful colors, there are a lot of fun things to do in the fall. Apple picking is one of them and I shared some handy tips for you. Hubby also shared his first Currently post where he talked about what’s keeping his mind and body busy lately.
Travel
Beautiful bridges fascinates me and I was in awe with the one in Savannah. Speaking of bridges, Hubby said he had bridged many rivers in his life, but he was saying that metaphorically.
Halloween
Despite not having a trick or treater anymore because our son said he’s already too old for it, there are still a lot of fun things to do on Halloween. I shared five fun alternatives to trick-or-treating as well as some yummy mummy treats. Hubby also binge watched Halloween movies and he shared a list of those Halloween movies. Telling ghost stories is one fun thing to do on Halloween and Hubby shared a ghost story that he has heard all his life.
And that’s it!
How was your October?
