Happy Monday! Hubby recently wrote two Currently posts. If you missed them, you can check them here and here.
After realizing that Hubby already posted two, I figured, it’s about time for a Wifey Edition. How’s that? 🙂 So, Currently, I’m…
Reading…
Becoming by Michelle Obama.
I got this as a gift from the Hubs last Christmas aside from Whiskey in a Teacup by Reese Witherspoon. It’s a pretty interesting read and I can’t wait to continue to delve into her life and how she became the woman she is today.
Listening…
To…New Soul by Yael Naim.
I first heard of this song from the Instagram account of The Bucket List Family. I started following this adorable family just recently and they used this song in one of their videos. The version that they used was a remix, though, which is also good.
Watching…
FAM on CBS.
I was a fan of the TV Show, The Vampire Diaries and binge watched it on Netflix. I was such a fan that I added visiting the show’s location to my bucket list and guess what? I crossed it out of the list last year. Yep, we made a trip to Covington, Georgia a.k.a. Mystic Falls last summer.
I’ve been following Nina Dobrev (one of the lead actors of The Vampire Diaries) on Instagram, and that’s when I found out about her new show, Fam. It started in early January and Hubby and I have been enjoying it. It’s really funny! You should check it out.
Wearing…
Pajamas all day.
Well, not unless we have to go somewhere. 🙂 Nothing is more relaxing than wearing your pajamas while cozying up watching a movie or show, or even while doing my online tasks. Pajamas are my house uniform and I won’t change it for the world. LOL.
Eating…
Chopped Salad Kit from Aldi.
I shared a photo of this salad on Instagram and as I mentioned there, it has kale, red cabbage, carrots, dried cranberries and sunflower seeds with a tangy citrus dressing. I can have this for lunch any day. So good!
Drinking…
Hot chocolate.
With a stick of candy cane. Yep, it has to have a candy cane even though it’s not Christmastime anymore.
Indulging..
The recipe that I followed could create a lot of these cookies. So what I did was create them in batches…a dozen of cookies a day. So yes, we’ve been indulging in these delicious chocolate crinkle cookies for days.
Anticipating…
The love month.
February is the most celebrated month in our household. I’m not only anticipating to celebrate Valentine’s Day, but also our wedding anniversary as well as Hubby’s birthday.
That’s it!
How about you? Any “Currently” you want to share?

I’m currently attending my 4 grandson’s basketball games. One of them has a game just about every night. The season will be over next week and we head to Disney World.

I think I would like to have those cookies and crawling to the couch underneath the blanket and just relax and read a good book. I think you had a great idea here.
