Hallelujah!
I think I am not the only one who exclaimed that after seeing the sun shining yesterday. It rained the whole week here in our neck of the woods and it was just like…is it ever going to stop? 🙂
And when you can’t go out to enjoy the outdoors, you think of ways how to enjoy the indoors.
There are a lot of fun things to do on a rainy day while you’re contained inside the house. Here are some of them.

Meditate
I meditate regularly and it’s actually more calming to me to hear the raindrops on the roof while meditating.
Binge Watch a Show on Netflix
There are a ton of shows to binge watch on Netflix. I am continuing to binge watch my favorite, The Vampire Diaries. I just can’t get enough of this show, especially after I visited the shows filming location, Mystic Falls, last summer.
Take a Nap
Rainy days are definitely conducive for sleeping. The sound of the falling rain on the roof definitely lulls me to sleep.
Listen to Music
Listen to your favorite music and perhaps, sing along with it too…to the top of your lungs. I only have two favorite music generes that I listen to…country or the 80’s.
Watch YouTube Videos
This is one of the things that my son loves to do. He watches game videos, music videos and even cooking videos.
Read Some Blogs
There are a few blogs that I like to visit regularly…mostly DIY, food and travel blogs
Play Games with Alexa
We got our son the Echo Dot last Christmas and we’ve all been having fun with Alexa ever since. I like her question of the day and all the trivia games that she has
Make a List
Either a grocery list or the list of things that you want to do for the week or the list of things that you want to get done for the day. I mean, the list goes on.
Watch the Rain
It can be relaxing to watch the rain fall from your living room window while you’re comfortably sitting on the couch.
Dream Big
So while you are watching the rain, you may want to start daydreaming. I mean, why not? And since dreams are for free, dream big.

I can’t nap anymore because then I can’t fall asleep at night LOL, but I do binge a lot of shows on Netflix.
The summertime is when I love watching storms roll in. There’s just something magical about it. I’ve loved thunder and lightning ever since I was a kid. I can watch YouTube videos, as long as the power stays on!
I do a lot of these. Watching TV is a top one. And I also read. I try to clean, but I get distracted by the TV.
It was so nice to see the sun yesterday and again today. Yay! I like to curl up with a good book on a rainy day.
I love rainy days and usually take naps or I organize my pictures and stuff on my computer. I always take that time to clean up files and stuff so my computer can go faster.
Rain and flooding is what we are experiencing here in our area. These rainy day ideas are perfect.

I love to sleep when it’s raining because the sound of rain is calming and relaxing. Also, it’s so tiring to go outside and get wet.

I hear you sister not sure what’s going on with Mother. She seems like grumpy this past few week. I am hoping the rain stop sooner i feel sad for other state who are affected by flooding. Keep safe.

My favorite rainy day activities are reading a book or watching a movie. All while staying in my pj’s of course!!

Rain gets me depressed lol. My way of suppressing homesickness is binge watching my favorite Korean dramas.

Rainy days are perfect days just to curl up on the couch and either read a book or watch a good movie.
I wish I could take a nap on rainy days – but the kiddo’s wont let me. Instead we sing Rain Rain Go Away. so they can go out and play.
