The Corner Kitchen
We were really blessed to have a beautiful spring-like weather on our wedding anniversary. We seldom get this kind of weather in February so we couldn’t have been more thankful and grateful for that gorgeous day. That being said, there was no reason not to make the most of it and enjoy it as much as we could.
So after we had our lunch date to celebrate our 8th, the Hubs and I decided to stroll through Historic Biltmore Village where our most favorite restaurant, the Corner Kitchen, is located. The building on the corner behind me is the restaurant. Its Victorian facade is really pretty.
The Olde World Christmas Shoppe
Right next door to the restaurant and the building behind the Hubs is The Olde World Christmas Shoppe, a Christmas store that is open the whole year through. I love visiting this store during the Holiday season because it truly gets me more into the Christmas spirit.
Street Lamp
This is just one among the many street lamps that grace the entire Historic Biltmore VIllage. They sure do add to the beauty in the village.
Shop in the Name of Love
Shop in the name of love. Sing it! Seeing this sign in front of one of the retail stores in the village really got me into singing that song by The Supremes, Stop In the Name of Love. Ain’t that cute?
There are a lot of retail stores in Biltmore Village and most of them are popular brands that you can access online too. There are also local retailers there that offer really good merchandise.
Which Way to Go
Where to? Boston Way is where the Corner Kitchen is located. And Biltmore Plaza is where we parked because there was no parking available on Boston Way at the time. I didn’t mind at all because then we got to walk and stroll around the village from where we parked and enjoy that beautiful winter day.
Have you been to Asheville? If not yet, I recommend exploring Historic Biltmore Village. You may also want to check these five things to do in Downtown Asheville. And since spring is right around the corner, here’s a look at spring in Asheville.

I love looking through history. The past has got so much more color in it than what it does now. You look at the building from the past and they’re so much more creative. I would love to wander through this town and explore it.
