So this was the sweet surprise that greeted me one morning over the weekend. It sure woke me up even before I had my cup of coffee. I mean, if this doesn’t wake you up, I don’t know what will. 🙂
My husband is so good at this. Yes, this wasn’t the first time that he wrote me a sticky love note, but like the previous ones, it never failed to surprise me.
Writing down sticky love notes is such a loving way to show how much you care and love a person. Don’t you agree? But this may not be for everyone since we all have our different ways of showing our love and care for our better half. But whatever works for you, right? The most important thing is that never ending display of love and affection even though you’ve been married for many years already.
Husbands, don’t let the busyness of life hinder you from keeping the romance alive. It only takes a minute or two to create a note, but it sure creates a lasting and powerful impression to your wifey. Just a piece of unsolicited advice for you. Wink!
I actually shared tips for a healthy and happy marriage here before. But like I mentioned there, I’m not a pro when it comes to giving marriage advice. I was just sharing those tips based on my experience as a woman married to my man for eight years now.
So anyway, other than calling each other Honey, he also calls me “Anghel.” It is the Filipino or Tagalog for angel. He has been calling me that since we got engaged. He did some research on the “Anghel” before we got engaged which was pretty impressive.
There are many ideas on the web on what love note to write on the sticky note. But for me, I’d prefer it original and not copied. Just like what the Hubs did. It’s more genuine or authentic that way.
How about you? What do you think about sticky love notes? Yay or nay?
