While January seemed to crawl like 5 mph in a 70 mph speed limit, February sure felt like it was running 75 mph on a 25 mph speed. Anyone else noticed that or it is just me? 🙂
And since February flew by like a jet, it’s that time again for me to do the recap. It’s always fun for me to summarize last month’s happenings here on the blog. It’s also a good time for you to check out what you have missed.
So here you go!
Celebrating the Month of Love
If you have been following us, you already know that February is the most celebrated month in our household because other than Valentine’s Day, our Wedding Anniversary also falls on this month as well as Hubby’s birthday. Here’s what we shared.

Wintertime Fun
Winter here in our state of North Carolina is always mild compared to the Northeast or Midwest which we are so thankful and grateful for. We were blessed with a spring-like weather on our Wedding Anniversary, but we also had a lot of rain, and now a wintry mix of flurries and ice are in the forecast. But spring will be here before we know it. And regardless of the weather, there are still a lot of things to do and enjoy.

And that’s it for February. March is finally here and I can smell spring just by looking at our blooming daffodils.
How was your February?

Married going on 39 years over here. We have date night every week and have done this for years. Before kids, during raising kids and now empty nesters.

I agree – February flew by! We had two birthday celebrations and my husband was on a business trip all week. Now I’m looking forward to spring.

These are some great tips. My husband and I have been married for 18 years. We make sure we have dates and spend time together in the evening.

I am not a big fan of February because it is so cold and it seems to go slowly for me. You have so many great events in February sorry it is over.

Yes, February flew by very fast. Our wedding anniversary is also in February, however, this year instead of celebrating it, I was sick in bed with food poisoning 🙁

Oh, hey! Ours was February 5th too. 🙂
It looks as if you had a wonderful month filled with love, adventure and delicious food. I hope March is just as fulfilling.
I am looking forward to March. Hopefully it brings a bit of warmer weather but I’m not hopeful.
February was done like a NY minute! I’m ready for March, bring it on!
February did fly past quickly for me too. The weather started warming up nicely too although the last few days it’s taken a turn for the worse. Roll on Spring!!!!
February really did go by quickly! I’m making chicken pot pie tonight using a chicken substitute.
Our February started off pretty well. Unfortunately it ended with the passing of our dog Scottie. He was 14 and lived a nice long life. I am glad he was a home with us.
I am so sorry about your dog, Scottie.
I’d love to try the recipes! Yum! I can’t believe how fast days are, it’s already March. ugh
February flew by, which was probably good.. it wasn’t our best month. The kids were sick, my daughter had teeth pulled, we’ve had snowstorms and it wan’t a good month. Looking forward to March and better weather!
