Spring has sprung! The dogwoods are done showing off their beauty and there’s a few more days to enjoy the cherry blossoms, but I couldn’t be happier that warmer weather has finally arrived. We’re going to have temps in the 70’s this week and YAY to that!
I think I’ve mentioned in my Currently post for March that this Currently posts between me and the Hubs are looking like we’re having it alternately which was never our plan. And today’s Currently post sure ditched that idea because I’m sharing another Currently post. But you know what, if the Hubs would not have been super busy with work, I think he would have shared one here. Unfortunately, at the moment, he’s semi-retired from blogging.
Anyhoo, let me just share mine today and see what I’m loving and enjoying, and all of the above. 🙂
Reading…
Magnolia Table by Joanna Gaines.
For those who are familiar with this book, yes, it is a cookbook, but Joanna has included stories in every recipe and I am really enjoying reading them all and knowing more about the recipe and the connection of it to her or their life.
Listening…
To 80’s Music.
I was born in the 70’s and the 80’s is my most favorite music era. Why? I was in elementary and high school in this era and those were the times where you only think of fun and nothing else. Other than school and eating, that is. You know what I mean? No adult-ing. Just pure innocent fun. 🙂
Watching…
For the People on ABC.
We’ve seen the first season and now we’re on the second season. I’m really learning a lot about the law in this show and that’s why I’m enjoying it a lot.
Wearing…
Shorts and flip flops.
The time has arrived. Woot! I came from a tropical country and shorts and flip flops are my favorite get-up. Happy to finally be able to wear them again. I did enjoy wearing my pyjamas all day during the wintertime though.
Eating…
Triple Chocolate Mug Cake.
My son saw this recipe online and requested for me to make it for him. I made some for me too and we both love it. So good!
Anticipating…
Spring break and Easter Sunday.
Spring break usually falls on Holy Week around here and that’s next week. My son is excited and so am I. We don’t go anywhere on Spring Break. But we so look forward to just hanging around and chilling and enjoy a lot of sleeping in.
Also, we celebrate Easter Sunday at my in-laws’ and we look forward to some family time and good food prepared by my sister-in-law not unless there’s a change of plans.
That’s it!
How about you? Any Currently you want to share?

You are so lucky to be able to be sporting shorts and flip-flops at this time of the year. We are still getting pelted with snow. I also love 80s music. It was a fun time to be listening to music.

My kids just had Spring break and it was wonderful! While it is not shorts and flip flop season here in Wisconsin yet getting away on vacation to a warmer place will help me get through the last few weeks of colder temperatures here.
