My son’s Spring Break always falls on Holy Week. So Easter Sunday is the end of his R&R, so to speak. 🙂
But that doesn’t mean we don’t look forward to Easter Sunday. We usually spend this day at my in-laws to spend some family time while enjoying good food prepared by my sister-in-law who is an excellent cook. So who would not look forward to that? Good food, good people…awesome!
I’ve shared a story about Easter Sunday in the past where the boys played basketball. The weather was great that day and they all had fun. I had fun watching them as well as taking photos too.
These cupcakes were prepared by my sister-in-law with the help of her grandkids on Easter a few years ago. They were not only adorable, they were delicious too.
And I think they are pretty easy to make compared to these Easter desserts that I have shared before here on the blog. They can be tedious to prepare, but I believe it will be all worth it once you see the finished product. I mean, look at those cute and enticing desserts. I may just have to stare at some of them and never eat them at all. They’re too pretty to eat, don’t you think? 🙂

I always send my grown kids a text asking them what desserts they want for Easter dinner. This year they picked my Lemonade Poke Cake as the top choice. I’ll make at least one other dessert. (Those cupcakes look delicious!)

I agree with you. Some cupcakes I have seen look too perfect that I would need to think twice before I eat them. But of course, that would not be an issue with the kids. Haha. Wishing you and your family a blessed Easter!

This year we have really taken it easy. We have not made a big deal about it and plan on just enjoying family time. I may have to make a few treats but not too sure which ones yet, there are so many good ideas.

Easter always tends to be a day of rushing around for us. We are at church quite a bit, usually serving in some way, and then it is rushing off to the family lunch.
