I can’t believe it’s almost a year ago today when I shared a week’s meal plan. But like I mentioned before, meal planning has helped me big time…time and money wise and I have never looked back since then. You may check my Simple Guide to Meal Planning for some tips and tricks.
So I may not have shared another meal plan after that, but I’ve been meal planning and here’s what our dinner menu looks like for next week.
Sunday: Grilled Steak with Baked Potato and Oven-Roasted Asparagus
We love to grill or should I say, Hubby loves to grill and I do the eating. đŸ™‚ He’s the master chef when it comes to grilled food. He already checked the grill yesterday and he’s going to prepare it (cleaning and all) tomorrow for our first grilling of the season this Sunday.
I don’t have a picture of this favorite Sunday dinner except for the oven-roasted asparagus, but I will for sure snap a photo this Sunday to share here on the blog soon.
Monday: Crispy Fried Calamari
We’re headed to Asian Market this weekend (we only go there twice a month or every two weeks) so those squids are going in the cart, for sure. Calamari is my son’s most favorite appetizer, but it’s not only an appetizer for us. We make it our main course paired with steamed brown rice.
Tuesday: Oven-Roasted Crispy Pork Belly
And here’s another Asian Market goody that will go inside the cart. They always have Pork Belly there and whenever we go there, the owners already know that I want some Pork Belly.

Wednesday: Mahi-Mahi with Asparagus
A seafood dish or two is always on the menu every week. That’s how much we love seafood.
Thursday: Baked Chicken Meatballs
I have never had chicken meatballs until I found this recipe and I have enjoyed it since I started preparing it. My husband and son love it too.
Friday: Nilagang Baka or Filipino Beef Stew with Clear Broth
Having a stew on the menu is a must every week too. I still have to share that other stew which is also a Filipino favorite. It’s called ‘Sinigang’. I’m going to share it here soon.

Saturday: Pizza
We got to have a night for pizza and Saturday nights are the best nights for that. We eat pizza while watching a movie.
I used to cook only five days a week, but I make it six days a week now and we eat the leftovers for lunch instead of dinner.
Do you meal plan too? What does your menu look like for next week?
Ashley says
My husband would love it if I made calamari for him. I’ll have to send him this recipe so he can make it himself lol
Alli Smith says
I need to do better at meal planning. I do good some weeks and some weeks I’m awful at planning meals. This really motivates me to do better.

Those meals lookaed amazing and so much variation, your family is so lucky. I can not show this to my family they would call me and my meals a slacker.
Amber Myers says
I need to try that pork belly. Yum! I really need to start meal planning.
Marcie W. says
We meal plan as well and it makes things so much easier. I’d like to try making that fried calamari. So far I have only had it at restaurants.

I actually just sat down to do my meal plan for the next week. I am thinking we will grill out on Sunday.

I also love meal planning. I spend only what I need to at the grocery store. I do stock up on things that make future meals easier or more affordable, but its a must for our family!

Great meal ideas! I have some asparagus in my fridge so thank you for these tips!

I do meal planning too. It makes it easier for my family to expect what to have to dinner on certain days. I have a calendar taped to the refrigerator door so my family can help me with menu planning too.
Beth says
I am sporadic with my meal planning. I really hate it, but it does make dinner simpler if I know what we’re having early in the day.
Kristine Nicole Alessandra says
You got your week well planned when it comes to meals. I should be more consistent with meal planning too. I will draw inspiration from you.
Lia Mae says
Oh wow that makes me have to step up my meal planning game. I think I’m going to have to add fried calamari to it as well.
