A few days ago, Hubby was busy with a very important legal matter regarding our life here in the U.S. More on this thing later. With that, it took me back in time to when we visited Nashville for the weekend. The main purpose of that trip was to actually renew mine and my son’s passports. And since that was our first time to visit Nashville, we decided to explore the area too after we were done with our main purpose. And I’m so glad we did.
I searched the web for fun things to do in Nashville. There were a lot of fun things to do there, but below were the ones that we enjoyed.
Broadway
We walked through Broadway. But as per the Hubs, it’s more well known as Music Row. Either way, you should walk through this part of the city because all the live happenings are right here. Click the link below the photo for more info
The Parthenon
I first came across this attraction in the movie Percy Jackson. My son was a fan of the movie series and I watched all the movies with him. As soon as I found out it’s in Nashville, I knew I had to put it on our list of must-see places there. You must visit this place and be amazed by what’s inside. More on the link below.
Other Things To Do
Hubby shared other fun things that we did. You can check them all below. I am certainly not the only country music fan in this household. Hubby is too.
- “Walking the Floor…” of the Ernest Tubb Record Shop
- The Original Home of Real Country Music: Ryman Auditorium
- Johnny Cash Museum: A Trip to the Past
I would love to go back to Nashville and explore more. We were only there for a weekend and it sure wasn’t enough. But we sure had fun.
Have you been to Nashville?

We need to make it to Nashville one day. We’ve only just flown into it and hung out at the airport. Music row would be neat to see.

Oh I did not know they had a Partheon in Nashville. Looks similar to the Pantheon in France, pretty cool architecture.

We went to Nashville in October and went to the Parthanon. I thought it was cool but it didn’t entertain my 4 year old. My older kids liked it.

The Parthenon looks beautiful. It reminds me of our state’s capitol here in WV.
