Hope y’all had a wonderful Father’s Day!
We had fun celebrating the pillar of the family last Sunday. We started the day with him opening presents. Then I prepared his favorite breakfast…bacon and sunny-side-up eggs. Boy was he overjoyed to see those goodies on his plate.
We then headed to our favorite theater, Regal Cinemas Biltmore Grande to watch Godzilla. Our son was the one who picked the movie. And since we’d already purchased our tickets online and it wasn’t seating time yet when we arrived at the theater, we just hung out in the lobby while enjoying some snacks; popcorn for the husband and nacho cheese for me and my son.
The Man of the House
He tried to copy Annabelle on that movie poster. Did he do good? What do you think? LOL.
The Man of the House in Training
Our son loved the movie Lion King. I loved the movie too and we all can’t wait to watch this one soon.
Mexican Food Please
The man of the house wanted to eat Mexican food. It was his day so we let him choose what we should eat. I love Mexican food so off we go to our favorite Mexican restaurant here in the city, Papa’s & Beer.
Munching on these chips and bean dip while waiting for our order.
Hubby’s Beef Enchiladas. This is what he always orders when we are there.
My Veracruz. And this is what I always order when we are there. It has grilled shrimp in it plus all those vegetables served in their homemade Veracruz sauce.
My son had nachos again, but I forgot to take a photo of them. I even forgot to take pictures of our drinks. I must have been so hungry already, that’s why. 😉
How about you? How did you celebrate the dad or dads in your life?
