Happy Monday! How was the week for you? Ours was exciting and here are the reasons why.
There’s already a little bit of color here and there and here’s some that I captured at the Target parking lot. Only the top of the tree has colors yet, but happy to see those teeny bitty colors already.
Lunch Date at Waffle House
But before Hubby and I went to Target which is one of my favorite stores ever, we grabbed lunch at one of our favorite places too, Waffle House. This is usually our go-to place when we’re on a road trip and had to grab a quick meal. The Hubs was craving for bacon so bacon it was for him.
Love me some orange juice on a summer-like fall day.
This was what my lunch looked like. I know, right? They do have lunch meals, but this is what I love from them. So breakfast meal it is for lunch.
Target Dollar Spot
Anyone else who loves this spot other than me? This spot just has a lot of adorable stuff. Too bad there wasn’t much fall decor left. I was late. So I came home with this candle only. It smells so good, you know?
HomeGoods Find
Here’s another place that I love to shop here especially for home decor, etc. It’s a hit and miss for me sometimes, though. But I was lucky last week and found a pair of throw pillows. Love the details and color of this one. It was like custom made to match our couch.
Japanese Takeout
Friday evening had us ordering takeout next to where the Hubs was working. We were supposed to grab Chinese, but my son changed his mind and decided to go Japanese instead.
Tempura Udon noodle soup for my son.
And Soba Noodles for me. Both were really good.
We have not been to that Japanese Restaurant yet, but after the dinner we had last Friday, we’re definitely going to check them out soon.

You know, I’ve never eaten at the Waffle House before. I’ve heard about it, but haven’t ever gone. I need to!
And yes, I LOVE the Target dollar spot. I can spend so much there.
I love Home Goods. I could spend so much time in there just browsing. I always buy my bathroom hand soaps/dispensers from there and always get compliments from guests.
Looks like so many great things happened in September. Our month was full of changes as both my kids are in new schools and we made a big Target run too.

Once we were stranded in Tennessee with nothing but a Waffle House to eat in for four days/nights. We love breakfast and so we survived!
I wish we had a Waffle House location near us! This food looks so darn good!
I really wanted to go to Waffle House. I heard their food are delicious! And those Japanese Takeout are mouthwatering!
I just have to say their food choices are simply amazing. It kinda makes me hungry actually. The noodles looks excellent!
I haven’t eaten at Waffle House in years. Now I’m more of an iHop type of girl lol. But, wait, Target has a $1 aisle? Obviously, I don’t shop there enough because I had no idea. But, now I guess I have an excuse to go to Target and see what I can find lol.
I wish we had a Waffle House closet to us! I also love target and hone goods, so a Waffle House lunch would be perfect for an afternoon shopping trip! Your Japanese takeout looks delish as well!

I’ve been craving breakfast all day and now I have to have it. There’s nothing better than breakfast for dinner.
