The holiday season is in full swing. And like I mentioned last week, downtown Asheville is already decked out for the holidays. The Hubs and I decorated last week so we’ve been enjoying our Christmas tree and other delightful decor for days now. He still has to put up the Christmas lights outside though. Hopefully, he gets to do it before Christmas. LOL.
I finally got to hear Christmas carols playing at the grocery store last week and I was like…”Oh, they’re playing Christmas carols already.” I thought they would wait until after Thanksgiving. 🙂

But even before I heard the Christmas carols being played at the grocery store, I was already listening to Christmas carols here at home. And this song right here is my most favorite Christmas song of all. I play this over and over while doing my online tasks.
This song definitely never gets old. And it’s always fun to see these artists looking so young. You got to love the hair in the 80’s too. 🙂

Christmas movies.
On Lifetime, but mostly on Hallmark Channel. And yes, I have seen most of those movies before, but it’s still fun to watch them again and again.

Nilagang baka or Filipino beef stew with clear broth.
When the weather starts to get chilly, I always crave for stew and this is one of my favorites to cook regularly. My son loves it too.

Hot chocolate with candy cane.
I love having candy cane in my hot chocolate. I actually thought it was common around here. But I was surprised to read the response when I asked the question on Instagram last week. Apparently, some people have not even tried doing it yet. Have you?

It’s Thanksgiving week and other than spending time with my brother-in-law and his family later this week, the three of us are also going to check out some Christmas fun. I will blog about it next week.

I’ve had Christmas music playing since before Halloween LOL. I like to get started nice and early.
You hit all the big events of the holiday season. I love the Christmas movies and a cup of hot chocolate with candy canes is great to warm up to.
We always put up our tree on Thanksgiving afternoon so I’m looking forward to doing that this week! Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Surprisingly enough I have not started listening to Christmas music yet. I think it is because I have been so busy. We don’t have our tree up yet, but we have started to put up a few decorations.
I love drinking hot chocolate when it’s cold out! We’ll be starting to watch Christmas movies soon.
