Happy First Day of November!
The Holiday season has officially begun and I couldn’t be more excited. Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year and I am so looking forward to decorating and gift shopping. But before I get carried away some more, let’s head on to the October recap first. Here you go. Take a look in what you may have missed.
Family & Fun
October was an eventful month for me and my son, and October 8 will be a special day I will remember forever. You can read more about it on Hubby’s post, God Bless the USA, below. I also shared about some fun and good stuff in my Currently and The Week that Was posts.

I Love Food
Other than loving my native land’s cuisine, I am also open to trying new cuisines and recipes. So I always browse the net for new recipes to try. Below were the mouthwatering foods that I came across last month.

- Mouthwatering Taco Recipes
- Snacks & Treats from Trader Joe’s
- Delicious Must-Try Filipino Recipes
- Candy Corn Halloween Treats
- Decadent Chocolate Mousse Recipes
Happy Halloween
Hope y’all had a spooky and wonderful Halloween. It was raining and the wind was blowing here in our neck of the woods, but my son has graduated from trick-or-treating so we just spent the night in the comfort of our own home snuggling and watching shows. Hubby shared some creepy stories here on the blog last month so check them below if you’re into scary things like him.

That’s a wrap for last month’s recap. Time is sure flying by. And today it feels like winter. Brrr!
How about you? How was your October?
Congrats on becoming a US citizen! How exciting! We postponed our Trunk or Treat until tonight (because of tornado warnings and storms) so Halloween continues for one more day in my neck of the woods.
You had quite a monumental month of October! Ours was rather busy, with lots of fun moments.
I love food too! I’ll have to try the Filipino recipes. They look amazing.
ill have to try that food my friend- yum! cant believe its already november
My daughter took my son out last night because he wanted to walk to a bunch of house to house. I just can’t do that without being in a ton of pain later. So I stayed home to pass out the candy and I was sad because I only had 1 trick or treater. He got a handful of candy.
I’d say it was a very special month for you! Congrats on your citizenship. It snowed here on Halloween, so we didn’t see many people out collecting candy because it was just too cold.
Congratulations for being a US citizen! Filipino Foods sound sooo delicious. Hope you had a wonderful Halloween.
Congratulations for being a US citizen! And I hope you and your family had a wonderful Halloween, too!
October went by quick, wow! You looked like you had a full month. Hope you’re having a fantastic start to November!
Some of those recipes look so good! I can’t believe how quickly October went too. It was gone before we knew it. I’m really excited for November though. Also, congrats on your citizenship!
Congrats becoming US Citizen. Yes that is important milestone in the life. You are right, it is going to festive season and we need to shop for gifts for friends and family.
