There’s a couple more days left for this month as well as for this year and for this decade. It’s unbelievable how things are moving so fast, but such is time.
I am a little anxious of what 2020 will bring, but also excited at the same time. We have plans for the new year and I hope and pray things will fall into place without problems just like this year.
And here’s my last Currently post for the year. I really enjoyed writing these Currently posts and sharing them with you.
Listening…
To…Christmas music.
I know Christmas is over, but I still continue to listen to Christmas music until New Year’s Day because for me, the holiday is not over until that day. 🙂
Watching…
You on Netflix.
We enjoyed watching the first season of this psychological thriller on Lifetime and we couldn’t wait to see the new season. Last night, we watched two episodes of the second season and boy, this series is really getting dark. We can’t wait to continue watching. We might binge watch it. It’s that thrilling!
Eating…
Coconut Cream Pie.
I have already shared about this delicious pie on my Christmas recap post last week. It’s yum-o!
Indulging…
In…Filipino-style Macaroni Salad.
I can’t remember the last time I have had this salad. Growing up, this is one of those dishes that we look forward to having at Christmas. My Mom always prepared it and I remember always watching her making it. I am going to share the recipe here on the blog soon.
Looking Forward To…
New Year’s Eve.
Every year, we always watch the ball drop in Time’s Square on TV. We’re not night owls, but we’ve been successful in waiting for midnight and welcoming the New Year unfold.
Hubby and I already bought two different wines. I am not a big wine person, but I have been wanting to try Rose’ so I grabbed me a bottle at the store. On the other hand, the Hubs wants to try a different wine. He is much more of a wine person and he grabbed a different bottle. But we’re not going to drink it all on New Year’s Eve, okay? Whenever he buys wine, it lasts long and stays forever in the fridge.
I still have not taken down my Christmas decor. I usually take them down on January 2nd. So right now, I’m still enjoying the glow of our Christmas tree minus the gifts underneath, of course.
How about you? Any Currently you want to share?

I keep hearing about You, but I haven’t watched it yet. I really should. I have taken down my Christmas decor inside, but not outside.

High-five! 🙂
That macaroni salad sounds great! I can’t wait to try your recipe for it! And I agree, I like to keep the Christmas music going a little longer.
Yes! 🙌
Sounds like you are enjoying the end of the year. Coconut Cream Pie is so good!
Thanks for sharing a recap of this month. I don’t believe I ever had a coconut cream pie before.
I cannot believe that this month is already done and over with. I am so ready for 2020!
I can’t believe the year is just about over with. I can’t wait to see what the new year brings though. It’s always exciting when a new year begins.
I have heard good things about that show You in Netflix, maybe I should start watching it
We took our tree down the weekend after Christmas. Between the kids all running around and the littlest touching every ornament and finding a couple broken – we decided it was best this year to take it down early. Typically it is up until the new year
I have no schedule for when we take the tree down. This year we took it down on New Year’s Day, but I still have other decorations to put away.
