We celebrated Hubby’s birthday a few night’s ago, a little late than his actual birthday because he had to work, but we sure enjoyed everything that we had.
Like I mentioned many times in the past, we love seafood and we decided to eat at Red Lobster. We’ve been there a few times in the before, but the last time was during my son’s 12th birthday. I didn’t realize it had been that long until I saw my blog post about his birthday.
Sweet Tea with No Lemon
This is what Hubby’s choice of drink every time we eat out and that’s his request all the time too…no lemon!
Orange Juice
OJ for me, as always.
Bread
Such tasty bread. Not sure what it was, but I would guess that it was garlic bread.
Seafood-Stuffed Mushrooms, Signature Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail & Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp
They had a certain name for this appetizer platter, but I forgot and I couldn’t find it on their menu online. But those are what were included and they were all good although I’m not much of a fan of the shrimp cocktail compared to the Hubs. I liked that they’re big, but I just didn’t like them cold. I did enjoy the rest especially the stuffed mushrooms. It’s one of my favorites.
Signature Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail
Here’s a closer look at the jumbo shrimp cocktail.
Seafarer’s Feast
On this platter, there was a wood-grilled Maine lobster tail, wood-grilled sea scallops, hand-crafted garlic shrimp scampi and Walt’s favorite Shrimp. I’m not sure who Walt is. LOL.
It was served with rice which was so good. I need to find a recipe for that rice.
It was also served with one side and Hubby chose the baked potato.
Roasted Harvest Vegetables
We were asked to choose between a salad or another side and I decided for another side and I chose this. Love me some brussels sprouts.
Good Food, Good Times
The Hubs and I shared in all of this deliciousness from Red Lobster. Our son was tired from his exam and decided to stay home and get some rest. We just took him food home in a doggie box.
We got so wound up enjoying the food in front of us that I almost forgot to have our photo taken so as you can see, the plates were almost empty. 🙂
Happy Birthday once again to my dear Hubby. Here’s to many more!

Yum, looks like a great meal! I’d be all about the bread. And I love sweet tea. I don’t mind the lemon though. Most of the time I order Diet Coke!
