How about some bright and beautiful colors to fill our sights with in this time of uncertainty?
There is too much negativity on the news, but we can always take a break from it and see the beauty that is right in front of us or around us.
The beauty of the blooms in my garden are soothing to the eyes and are truly relaxing. Some of these flowers bloom in the spring although my daffodils bloom even before spring officially begins. And some of them bloom in the summer.
I have already enjoyed the beauty of my daffodils and I’m currently enjoying the beauties of my creeping phlox and periwinkle. Soon I’ll be enjoying the blooms of my purple iris.

Summer blooms include the azaleas, hostas and the hydrangeas. I have yet to take pictures of my white hydrangeas. I will in the summer. I hope I will not forget. 🙂

I started my flower garden in 2011 with just a few plants then added a few new plants every year and since then I’ve learned so much about flower gardening. There were even a couple of times that we visited a greenhouse in a nearby town to buy plants. I shared my tips and tricks on how to make the most of your time in a greenhouse here.
My Mom had a flower garden back in my hometown, but the only thing I did back then was help her water it. Still, since trying it here in the U.S. I’ve learned that flower gardening in a tropical country is totally different from here. I shared everything that I learned in flower gardening here before.
How about you? Do you have a flower garden? What flowers do you have? I would love to hear it.

In the wintertime, we moved to a new house so we’re having fun figuring out our landscaping and what we want to plant where. It’s keeping us sane these days.

I’m looking forward to some flowers this spring. Right now we have snowdrops and violets, but I have a lot more that should bloom this spring and summer.

I love my flower garden, too. It is time to go and plant a few things in a couple of weeks. Even that will be a bit early for Missouri.
