Hello May!
April sure felt like it flew by for me. Do you feel the same way? Maybe because we’ve been pretty preoccupied over here. Like what me and the hubs mentioned in our Currently posts which you can find below, we’ve been pretty busy with DIY projects and we’ll continue to do so in May.
We’re happy with what we have accomplished so far, and we do make sure to relax, watch a movie and enjoy good food too.
I shared everything here on the blog last month, so read on for the April recap.
Family & Fun
We celebrated Easter differently, but it was still fun and with sumptuous food at that.
I’m now enjoying the beautiful blooms of my azaleas. Love these time of year when these beauties show off.

Live Life
It’s a new world we’re living in now, and hubby shared his thoughts about it.
I Love Food
We celebrated our son’s birthday the quarantine way in March. That’s just one of the new ways of living the hubs was thinking about in this new world of social distancing brought about by Covid-19, the quarantine way. But I only got the chance to share the delish birthday food we had last month the virtual way, another new way of living, just like our son’s new way of going to school.
Also enjoyed some yummy Asian food for Easter.
Shared a couple simple, yet delicious, easy recipes as well. Have you tried any of them yet?

April was a great month with lots of good food and accomplished goals.
How about you? How was April for you? I hope it was wonderful.
Here’s to an awesome May!

April did fly by but it was tough for me. I feel like in between my son’s temper tantrums and my baby girl’s tummy ache I didn’t get anything done. Except sleep.. maybe.
Quarantine hit me hard. When this is over I’m sending the toddler to grandma’s house to finally finish my giant todo list.

It’s so crazy how March felt like it lasted for 90 days, but April just flew by! I hope May calms down a little bit.

He did. Thanks!
Nice! For me April is the month of total lockdown and terrified of leaving home. So glad we’re slowly getting back to normal life.
Wow! My kind of recap especially if it’s food we’re talking about. The foods you’ve feature looks so delicious and tempting. Great post to share mate!
Thank you, mate! 😊
We enjoyed traditional food for Easter. It was a little different Easter this year but everyone enjoyed it!
All we did was to prevent and protect ourselves from the virus, we stayed home. Stay safe!
A quarantine’s birthday is a great opportunity to grateful of the things you appreciated less before quarantine 🙂
We stayed inside for all of April except for a few walks outside. Trying to do our part to flatten the curve. Your Easter lunch looks delicious and happy birthday to your son!
I love your posts that you share your month. I find them very satisfying plus I can catch up on posts I have missed. I love the Living posts. It give me new ideas!
