Happy rainy Monday from our neck of the woods!
I thought the rain would arrive tomorrow, but it’s made an early appearance. But that’s okay. My plants needed it, anyway. And I think we’re going to have rain the whole week. We may have to build a boat by the end of the week. LOL.
Anyway, time for another Currently post. This series is always fun for me to do because I like sharing what I’m currently enjoying and loving. So, here you go!

I first heard of this song in a commercial. Then I saw them perform on Ellen. Such a great song and the lyrics are so perfect at this time of the pandemic.
They actually used this song to raise funds for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO, and they have already raised $5,323,825 of $7,500,000. WOW!

Outer Banks on Netflix.
We’ve already finished watching this show and we really enjoyed it.
At first we thought it was filmed at the Outer Banks in North Carolina, but later on we learned that it was actually filmed in Charleston, South Carolina.
We’ve never been to the Outer Banks. Even the husband who was born and raised in NC has not been there yet, though he did travel to the coast of NC – Wilmington – during his Junior year of high school on a marching band trip to march in the annual Azalea Festival. Hopefully, we get to go there one day.

Pandesal or Filipino bread rolls.
Using my new stand mixer that my son gifted me with on Mother’s Day, I tried making some pandesal over the weekend. They tasted like pandesal, but didn’t look exactly like the one that I know. LOL.
I will try making some again and I will share them here on the blog soon.

We just finished up dead to me on Netflix, and I wasn’t that impressed. I will have to check out the Outer Banks next.

I just noticed today that our irises are blooming. We have masses of them, they’re so pretty. I’ve only seen a couple of episodes of Outer Banks so far.
