Mother’s Day dinner is surely one of life’s greatest pleasures. Do you agree?
The celebration may have been a little different this year, but it was still wonderful because as always, my husband and son spoiled me to bits.
I shared my wonderful quarantine-style Mother’s Day previously and like I mentioned there, I’m going to share what we we had for dinner that day.
We used our favorite food delivery service app to order food and we decided to order from Tupelo Honey Cafe. They are one of the most popular restaurants in Asheville. We’ve dined in at this restaurant before, but haven’t gone back in a few years.
So what did we fill our tummies with that night? Here you go!
Old Skool Breakfast Bowl
It’s dinnertime, but I decided to pick one from their Brunch Mains list because the thought of this breakfast bowl just made me drool.
It had two fried eggs, parmesan & rosemary potato cracklins, cheddar cheese, bacon crumbles, salsa, red pepper coulis and served over stone-ground goat cheese grits.
So good!
Loaded Potato Cracklins
Hubby went for this and chose the large order.
They were potatoes with melted pimento cheese, sour cream, bacon bits, scallions and garlic buttermilk ranch.
I had a bite and it was good too.
Honey Dusted Fried Chicken with All-Natural French Fries
And my chicken loving son ordered these.
The chicken was sprinkled with their signature ‘bee dust’.
He really enjoyed this dish.
Baked Mac-N-Cheese
Our son ordered this too.
Other than chicken, he also loves mac-n-cheese.
Donuts for Dessert
We already had these yummy donuts that my son surprised me with, so we didn’t order any dessert.
So there you have it…the delicious Mother’s Day dinner that I enjoyed having with my two favorite people.
How about you? What did your Mother’s Day dinner looked like?
Happy Foodie Friday, friends!

Who needs to go out when you can get a meal and dessert like that one. You had it all covered and the food they have has something for everyone’s taste.

Baked mac and cheese is one of my favorite! I like when it has a crunchier vs slimier texture, if that makes sense.
