As always, we made sure that the hubs had a wonderful Father’s Day. We spoiled him to bits and fed his belly. He sure felt loved after that.
We started the day with him opening a present from us.
Then we watched one of his most favorite films of all time, Field of Dreams. I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve seen this film, but I love this film, too, and it sure never gets old. In hubby’s words, it’s a magical film in the way it portrays his most favorite of sports, baseball.
For dinner, we ordered food from O’Charley’s Restaurant & Bar using our favorite food delivery service app.
Here are all the goodies that we all enjoyed for dinner on Father’s Day.
Seafood Combo Platter
Our son’s choice.
Being from an island nation, the Philippines, my son and I are huge fans of seafood and he got this platter all to himself. He’s such a hearty eater. Or as the hubby says, he’s a growing boy.
Included in the platter were hand-battered cod, buttermilk fried shrimp and imperial stuffed crab.
He chose mac & cheese as side.
Fresh Grilled Atlantic Salmon
If you have been following our blog, you already know by now that I really love salmon.
It was so good and the sides were delicious too.
As you can see, I’d already started eating before I realized that I hadn’t taken a photo for the blog, yet. I must have been super hungry. 🙂
Rice Pilaf
My salmon came with two sides so this was the first one that I picked.
I’ll never get tired of eating rice.
Fresh Broccoli
My second side.
The broccoli was cooked perfectly…so tender but not overcooked at all.
I’m the only one who eats broccoli in this household. My boys sure don’t know what they’re missing! LOL.
Buffalo Chicken Tenders
The hubs is a huge fan of buffalo chicken. For him, the hotter, the better.
So he got this and truly enjoyed it.
Overloaded Potato Skins
The hubs got this too.
They were thick crispy potato skins that were loaded with cheddar cheese, hickory-smoked bacon and green onions.
I had one and it was really good!
There you have it…our Father’s Day dinner that we all really enjoyed.
Happy Foodie Friday, friends! Enjoy the weekend!

I love the title of this article, everyone of us wanted to be healthy but I think on this special I will choose to count the memories rather than my calories in take. By the way, those foods looks delicious and it makes me hungry.
