We do a lot of shopping on Amazon, especially when it comes to household essentials.
Previously I shared my favorite Amazon kitchen organization products. Today, I’m sharing the things that I consider must-haves in the kitchen.
I’ve had these things for a while now and really love them.
1) Cuisinart 6425-30D Contour Hard Anodized 12-Inch Everyday Pan with Cover,Black
This is the largest pan that I have and I specifically chose this one because it has a lid. I use this in almost all the dishes that I cook except for the soup.
For a while, I was using cloth mittens. Then I discovered these silicone mittens and never looked back. I never had to worry again about feeling the heat, especially when I’m baking because these are absolutely heat resistant.
After I’m done cooking, I move the hot pan onto this pad immediately. I love that these are easy to clean too. You just have to wipe it with damp rag and it looks brand new again.
4) Cook N Home, Stainless Steel 4-Piece 8 Quart Pasta Cooker Steamer Multipots
I used to have a pot then a separate strainer to drain the pasta water. Cooking pasta is made easier with this pot.
I love that this is not too big. The size is just perfect for my little hand.
6) Lodge Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet With Assist Handle, 10.25″, Black
Every home should have a cast iron skillet. I use this a lot in roasting meat.

I have a cast iron skillet but I feel like it’s so hard to clean afterwards. Do you have any tips?
Hi Laura. I wash it under hot running water and soap after using. Then rub oil all over the surface using paper towels and place it in the oven for an hour at 500 degrees. Hope that helps. 🙂

Kitchen gadgets are like office supplies. There is always something new that will make life somuch more fun and enjoyable.
I really need to pick up a silicone oven mitt. I just use a rag and it would be that much safer and more convenient!
I love the silicone spoonula. I’d like to have several of those. I think I’m down to one small spatula in my kitchen and I’m always looking for it in the sink or the dishwasher.
