Happy first day of school to our son!
Yep, today marks the beginning of his remote learning. He’s in his senior year and they will have remote learning for the entire semester. And only God knows what the second semester’s going to be. But we are taking it one day at a time and we are just going with the flow. For now, with the current pandemic situation, remote learning is definitely the best way to go.
Anyhoo, time for another currently post.
Watching…
Paradise Lost on Spectrum Originals.
I have enjoyed watching Bridget Regan on The Last Ship and I have also seen Josh Hartnett in movies before. They’re both good looking and good actors so when I saw the trailer of Paradise Lost, I told my husband that we should watch it.
It’s a 10 episode mystery drama series. I’ll say it’s a little freaky too. Talk about dead people talking! LOL. But it’s actually thrilling we have already watched seven episodes.
Eating…
Choco butternut munchkins.
I still have a few left in the fridge so I’m still munching on these delicious munchies whenever I feel a munchkin urge.
Have you made them yet? I shared about them here on the blog last Friday.
Drinking…
Strawberry banana smoothie.
My son and I have been enjoying this combo lately. It’s really delicious not to mention, very healthy. I will share the recipe here soon.
Enjoying…
Blackberries from our yard.
Hubby has been harvesting blackberries from a blackberry bush in our yard that our neighbor planted. Apparently, they don’t all ripen at one time so he has to check the bush a few days at a time.
He checked it again yesterday and got some. Here they are. Funny thing, some of them turned red again after he picked them and stored them in the freezer. But I think these will be enough to make our favorite blackberry cobbler.
Looking Forward To…
My birthday.
I’m going to a be a year older soon and YAY to that! 🙂
How about you? Any currently you want to share?

My birthday is actually next month. 🙂
Picking blackberries from the garden is the best. We’ve done that and made some jam.
I wish I grew blackberries in my yard. I have to look into actually getting a plant. August looks like it was an amazing month for you.
Yum, I need a smoothie now. Sounds great.
I hope your son has a great senior year. My son graduated last year and it was crazy!

It must be lovely to have blackberries so easily on hand. I remember my grandparents used to have bushes out in their yard that had berries.
